I just ordered a lot of stocking stuffers from Temu! Also I got a granddaughter a couple of cute pretend dresses. They are so cute and pretty well made!
@@jacquelyngreen4210 so I live in a rural area. I try to shop local when I can, but ya know what!?! Most of their items say made in China too! 🤦🏼♀️ Very few items say made in USA anymore, so that leaves me few choices. I own USA made items, mostly pot and pans, kitchen things. If you took everything out of your house made in China it would be mostly empty. Who’s to blame? Our government! Think about that!
@@sharibc3597 You know you did make a good point because there are many things I own that were made in China and I don’t know how it was made. It will be easier for some than it is others to get not just made in the USA products but just ethically sourced products in general because those prices can be high. The one practical solution that I know of is thrifting and even then it can be hard to see where those items came from. I wasn’t specifically trying to target you but just trying to spread the message.
@@jacquelyngreen4210 it’s not a bad message and I assume many try their best but it’s just not always possible. And when it’s not why not get the lowest price you can? Especially in this economy. I just wish people understood economics better. Companies making profits is what they’re in business for, and if you own stock or something like a 401 k then you want them to make high profits. They can’t do that here in the us due to all the government regulations. When companies prosper so do we all and prices will come down and pay/the dollar will be worth more. Companies move and outsource to get the profits they need which means so much is made in China. There was a time lots of stuff said Made in Taiwan instead of China. I don’t have the answers but bringing manufacturing back here would be a start. And not getting made because companies make profit. There are outside situations tho like big pharma making huge profits when they’ve lied about harm they cause people. That’s never right.
I have the chair covers and love them!! This was a great video!! I loved everything you had in this video!!
