I just tried the tool out and it's not quite there yet. Generations are coming out poorly and with strange experiences, but to your point it's a decent kickstarter.
Takes the fun out of designing. There's so many nuanced and unique UI details that I don't see AI doing as of yet, like soft subtle shadows around a card or maybe a soft glow behind a button or even UI elements in the Neumorphism style. There are just some uniquely, creative things that only the human brain can create.
This software is only meant to produce the designs. It does generate code but implementing that would be the work of engineers / devs. If you’re looking for something that actually codes the app for you, check this out go.designerup.co/buzzy
It’s never too late. But it can take a while to get good enough and gain enough experience to get hired. It’s also harder to learn on your own so if you’re new to this field I would recommend taking a course that gets you career ready. You can take a look at our course for example designerup.co/product-design-ui-ux-course
This is why you need to expand your skills to include business and product strategy and understand how you apply this to working in your specific team environment.
Absolutely not. Design is not what it looks like, it's how it works. There is no testing of these to see what actually works for a given user group. I see multiple accessibility issues with the create account design as well as usability issues. Example: there is no way to escape the account creation process or sign-in if you already have an account. I see no error states. Visually I see alignment issues with the new buttons it created. AI isn't going to come up with new ideas. It can only do what's been done before. So new designs and design patterns still will have to come from humans. What is going to change is the tools we use to design layouts. But our jobs are not "done." Only people who are thinking on the first or second step of the Danish Design Ladder think that UX/UI designers are done.
this is a dishonest demo. It's obvious you had to manually edit the design at 1:26 because after initial generation Autodesigner completely fails at making revisions. Maybe in time it will work, but right now they are making promises they cant keep and tricking people into paying for a broken tool.
I explain this just moments after that…starting @2:16 where I say ‘it has some issues’ and that I have to ‘manually edit it’. How is that dishonest? Did you watch it in its entirety? The entire end of the video explains how this tool still has issues, how you may have to regenerate things and gives you tips for better prompting. They are not tricking people. But AI generation is indeed not perfect and not there yet, they are continuously improving. I warn a lot about these AI tools and make sure people set their expectations correctly. I was also not paid for this video and always try to give you my honest take.
Wonderful tool. Since the AI design tools come with a paid plan, Uizard, actually has a free plan. Thanks for sharing.
How private are our ideas/prompts/designs?

Like a boss!

I definetly prefer doing it myself by-hand also!
Why can't I find any instructions on how to turn it into an actual app?

Is it too late to learn ui/ux design and get a job?

Unethical behavior
