Great video, I have been wanting to make a portable Tiki Bar Counter and this is by far the easiest method I’ve found. You could put a board in the middle as a shelf as well.

This is really cool. You will have the best looking craft "booth" at the market. Just a hint, you should put some kind of bracket/shelf underneath for your cash box. When I did craft shows it was always tricky trying to figure out where to keep it accessible but not visible. Finally made a wood box with a wood front for hanging small items ie:jewelry. Too big for anyone to try and run off with.. was better than reaching in and out of my pocket.Hope you do a live video of the market....the interaction would be a blast. Hopefully not too much distraction. The views of your customers could really Amp up your channel. Great advertisement. Have a great weekend.

I know you think you do, hence the channel. But this is a 19+minute video that could’ve been under 6minutes IF you really did.
You’re end product is fine and serves its purpose. But you waste so much time debating on camera “Should we use pickets? IDK.” You obviously barely planned anything before pushing record. And you even ended up not having paint on hand.
Sorry- but I was looking for new ideas and spent 20min trying to figure out if what you were “teaching” would be of any use.
And as an actual carpenter, you did excess work that was unnecessary.
Just take it as a suggestion to work out the hiccups before starting the video and appear like you really know what to do. (Kinda like a teacher preparing before class.)
That moment when you first tried to put the top on..... 🤔 I can laugh because I’ve been there many times! I’ve learned more by making mistakes on projects than I’d like to admit. BUT thats what makes you guys so relatable.. and it turned out beautifully. Wishing you luck at the Farmers Market. 🍀

Yes! Definitely! And if its not going to be super portable use 2x4s as the backers so they can be supports for shelves! We used the pickets for the weight and can still probably create a lightweight shelf on the inside but 2x4s would be better for shelf supports

You should epoxy the top with stonecoat epoxy. It will look like a beautiful stone.
