Tried to find the boat owner to send it to them, but no AIS! I would kill to have a photo like that of Sabado! ⛵️

Wow, what an incredible adventure! It's amazing to see you exploring a place with such a fascinating history. The resilience of the human spirit is truly incredible, and this prisoner's survival story is proof of that. Great sailing and loved the ship wreck! I still cannot get it why there is not a minimum requirement of an proper anchor course for credit card captains :-D Keep living life to the fullest and sharing these incredible experiences with us. Safe travels and fair winds! ⛵️🌊🌟

Thank you! We had a blast exploring and learning about Saint-Pierre! And yes, we’re always amazed at just how many boats we see drag anchor… always have to look out for yourself😅

Enjoy the videos. You two are from Portland, OR? I’ll bet your glad to be in the Caribbean and the east coast of the USA. We were born and raised in Portland. Retired to Florida at age 50 in 2001. Now the Rose City is a slum. Lloyd Center shopping area is deserted due to racial tensions and crime. We Love Florida and our governor. Enjoy watching life on your catamaran. Beautiful vessel. Cheers!

Wow what an interesting video. I love history. The video above and below the surface were stunning. Well you have proven that old saying that no great story ever started with someone eating a salad😂. Nicely done

So pretty there. Two questions, 1. when you guys dingy in to shore, do you secure/lock up you dingy? and when shopping/eating on these islands, do you pay in US $, euros, visa? and 2. do you guys scuba when you're in a great spot instead of snorkeling, do you have your own compressor if so? OK, mundane questions, just trying to think ahead for when we pull the trigger in a couple years. Thx!

Hey, Mark! 1. Yes, we have a lock and chain for our dinghy, and a lock on our outboard engine. We pay in local currency (Euro for Martinique)! 2. We do not have our own dive compressor. We ended up selling our tanks a couple years ago as well because we’d rather support a local business by paying someone to take us diving when we feel it’s worth it!

@@HollyandRay Thx, I can see your point, I guess the question on the diving would be more towards if you're in an area that is more isolated, and uninhabited island say, and you wanted to dive that area. I've seen some other YT folks that carried their own tanks, and had a dive compressor on board. Was just wondering if you guys did too. Cheers!

@mikewalker1081 Yes, we might regret our decision once we head into the South Pacific, but there’s always been an opportunity to have someone take us in the Bahamas and the Caribbean! It’s expensive to get and maintain all that equipment- let alone finding space to store it! 😅
