A very nice video John I can say that I marched in many of the Parades here in Toronto and East York with my legion and I loved every minute of the marching and bands. Our Lancaster is coming over to UK in a few days to be with your Lancaster for about 18 appearances in July, while she is there so, maybe you may see it,. best wishes Wayne, Toronto.
Thanks Wayne,i can believe that you enjoyed every moment of those marches. It is a great feeling and respect i have for these guys who give their lives so we can enjoy ours.Yes i will look out for that appearance that will be a rare sight to see 2 Lancaster's in flight together ,hope things are still good with you..........John
I have to wonder what the world wars were fought for today in this land of the bedroom tax, no legal aid for the poor, foodbanks, hunger, no independent living fund, no more social housing etc The war had nothing to do with freedom or democracy- it was a war for global markets, for the empire and the ruling class. There were short-term gains for the working class but that is all gone. In a country where if you can't find work you have to work for no pay, that may aswell be fascism. The dominant ideology is 'social darwinism' and conservative (basically fascism) when Darwin himself hated tories and hated the way the poor and vulnerable were treated.
