Just got mine and l was gonna ask you, how was it? Any problem or was it holding enough to hold the coolant expansion? I'm thinking of weld a 4an bung fitting at the bottom and weld a mount bracket. Lmk
@@Joelqt okay good to know. I wasnt planning to use it anyway, l wanted a nylon braided hose so it'll be on a theme on my engine bay. Good work by the way.
@@Joelqt Ahh Ok.. I kinda worried cause I have the same Cannister and I haven't installed it yet. I see some videos that people drilled a small hole on the top. Just in case it needs some ventilations. And some cannisters from other companies already have a hole on the cover.
Hi Joel! I just received my aluminum coolant tank a couple days ago from Amazon. Looks like the exact same one with the hardware. Those brackets are actually useless IMO. Thanks for the Idea adding on to those brackets. Just what I need to do. Cheers from Motown.

the hose that came with it was garbage, ended up having to get some more lines. apart from that it was alright

Awesome Tip! Question though.. Does that cannister need some kind of vent on the top? Like Drilling a small hole on the cover?
i don't think so. i didn't drill a vent hole, seems to be working fine

the hoses that come with this are pretty thin and it burst after a couple weeks. i suggest you get proper radiator hoses to go along with this

i added till it was half full. i guess it's a pretty safe estimate
