  • Multi-epoch Mobile Laser Scanning Systems (MLS) can enable frequent,
    mine-wide underground geotechnical monitoring. Geotechnical data, e.g. geological structures and rock mass quality, are ideal meta-data candidates to contextualize changes detected in MLS data. Current data processing methods are not optimally suited for integrated analysis of high-volume, low precision MLS and heterogeneous, uncertain geotechnical data. This
    presentation will introduce our MLS -data-based geotechnical change detection framework and meta-data-enhanced voxels. Lukas will present field data to demonstrate how this approach is utilized to improve change detection and geotechnical analysis. He is excited to discuss opportunities for integrating other data and future applications of this framework.
    Lukas Fahle is a PhD candidate at the Mining Engineering Department of the Colorado School of Mines.     Thank you for your shared experience, I really appreciate it. I have thoughts about maybe there is any movement of surveyed 3 dimensional geo points for mobile scan routes around the 1.3km deep underground mining panels production area related to the tectonics plates shift per year mm shifting. 😅
