The wax is cast in stone, the wax is melted away, then the entire denture is completed using a plastic material. I made these in high school at a dental lab. It was fun to do.
What the name of material used, and where to buy ? I need to know exact name of waxused( not the one normally sold in store for temerory cure, such as coming from"quick repair kits"..etc. Pls help kindly...
A rather slow and clumsy technique with NO mention of tooth movement because of excess heat generated by hot wax added, a key to maintaining tooth position. Use a temperature controlled wax pot and or warmed sheet wax to reduce heat transfer. Your setup man and finisher will thank you.Good basic instruction.
