When Ichigo remembers the moments in which he was proud to be a shinigami in the manga, 6 moments come to his mind: when he saved his sisters, then Chad, when he saved Orihime from his brother, when he finished his fight with Ishida and made him reconsider (about what Ishida's grandfather had told him about being a team with the shinigami), when he arrived at the sokyuoku to save Rukia and when Orihime cried for him when he defeated Aizen! And Rukia disappearing at the end.
I will recommend only one filler arc of bleach which has nice fighting choreography which is not present in original arcs. I will recommend you to watch 'Reigai Arc' which begins at episode 317 to 341. And since it is a filler arc, you may find little non sense or plot hole. But it's not much. And it's ending will make you cry again as tragic ending of 'Gin' and 'Ulquiorra' did. Watch this filler arc before you begin 'Thousand Year Blood war arc'.
It is Kubo's favourite filler arc.

I just recently finished bleach and im telling u its worth the grind all those fillers lol. TYBW is so fire man I literally binged all 13 episodes of part 1 in one day and now im on episode 2 of Part 2 lol. U will love what bleach has become💯

Trust issues? Because of Aizen? I'm afraid this arc isn't going to help with that. The question of "who can Ichigo trust?" is central to this arc. What could be crueler than what Aizen did to Momo? (Poor, poor Momo!) This arc is definitely a mystery to be solved, and it's a pleasure watching you turn over all the details like a detective examining a crime scene! And you're asking the right questions.
Tsukishima exact words were: "I've already placed it inside her. No further contact is necessary." Really? Not even a phone call? Just "wham, bam, thank you ma'am!" And she thinks of him as a friend afterward? You can tell he's used to treating women like this - it's not his Fullbring power, it's just because he's "hot!" (He treats men the same way - look at the way Moe simps for him!)
These episodes highlight Kubo's use of characters not sharing information (possibly to "spare someone's feelings") to control the timing of the revelation of clues to the audience. It occasionally annoyed me throughout Bleach, but there's a lot of it in this arc, and I found myself getting frustrated with the characters for not trusting each other more and keeping too many secrets from each other. It was very effective in keeping me guessing throughout the story.
"What if I can't trust Urahara any more?" When were you first under the impression that you could trust Urahara? The light novel "Bleach: The Death Save The Strawberry" details what Urahara, Isshin and Rukia are up to behind Ichigo's back, and how many of the Gotei 13 are involved. And "Bleach: Spirits Are Forever With You" is set during the 17 months between Aizen's defeat and the Fullbringer Arc.

One more thing: you said you could write an essay about this arc. I'd watch that! If you wanted to do an overview reaction/review/analysis to an entire arc, or a particular fight, or character arc, or relationship within Bleach, I would find that interesting. I consume a fair amount of that type of content already. I realize that producing that type of content can take more work, so it would have to be something that you enjoy enough to make all that worth it for you.
