I followed your circuit diagram everything is OK but pump is not starting , moisture controller is working properly when insert in water the green light in relay starts when removed from water green light in relay stops but pump Dosnt working plzzz help me

Check step by step . First check moisture sensor output LED Indication on and off. Then check on and off led Indication. Pump state check
I follwed ur circuit as it is. But it works reverse.
Reverse means when sensor in water the pump is going to on, when sensor remove from water the pump is going to off. Its working like reverse. Wts the issue?
Ok. Change the the pump positive to another pin of relay. If already connect with NC then connect to NO. Vice versa

Yes we can connect 12V dc pump but input voltage Given to the Normally open (NO) of relay 12V.

1. One supply for relay working. In case 5V relay , we give 5v to VCC Of relay
2. Second supply for load(pump, motor,light, etc). This supply depends on load , if you are use 12Dc pump give 12 V . Otherwise 5V pump you give 5V. This supply given to the Common pin of relay module.
you have given 5v relay "5v DC Relay Module for Arduino" in amazon. We are not using arduino. Will it work without arduino?

Check individual working
1. Check moisture sensor working. If you dig in to the water the moisture sensor led will on. Otherwise adjust the potentiometer in the moisture sensor for change sensitivity.
2. Then check relay on and off separately. If the on and off worked. Then connect it with moisture sensor.
3. Check the pump separately. Then connect with relay
4. If you have multimeter then check wire continuity and input and output voltages.

sir What's the problem if the water continues to flow even though the entire circuit has been installed correctly?
Bro check individual components working. First check moisture sensor output voltage and LEd Indication. It must be on and off. In wet condition it will on and in dry condition it will off. Then check the relay on and off. You can hear the Relay on and off sound then you can see led Indication on and off. Use the multimeter for continuity and voltage value.

Yes bro, here we are using soil moisture sensor.it detects soil moisture value in dry conditions it will trigger the relay module. And relay will on the pump. If soil moisture sensor wet then sensor output pin state will change it will off the relay module.

@@nareshbolle668if you have basic knowledge about wire connection, sensors and soldering it will take maximum 2 hours to complete.
This project can be extensible in future. Adding additional sensor, microcontroller and IOT etc.
I have done it first it worked but after trying again the water doesnt stop flowing is anything wrong in the soil sensor....coz i have connected every wire correctly

For testing relay connect -ve of battery with Relay and touch and remove the +ve of battery with VCC.
If after connecting with Relay and moisture sensor the relay module LED flickering then adjust moisture sensor sensitivity by tune the potentiometer of moisture sensor(blue colour).
Now the red light in relay is emitting good and green light in moisture sensor is also emitting but the water flow doesn't stop....and sry for asking too many questions but I should submit it tomorrow
what soldering iron did you use? and also was the regulator linear or just normal?
I am using 25 watts soldering iron. It doesn't not a matter.

In moisture sensor digital output (D0) value in dry conditions O voltage and in moisture condition the DO pin voltage value becomes 5 voltage. The D0 pin will be attach with Relay input. So depends on moisture sensor relay will on and off. The relay module depends pump will on and off.

change the new battery or replace battery with adopter.. 9V battery have low current rating better to use more than one amps battery or adopter.

4. Test moisture sensor with relay on off

How to make this for real farm
For real agriculture farm more changes need. Must replace 9V battery with direct dc adopter, pump also replaced by Ac pump of 12V Dc pump then wire lengths are also extend.
I am not recommending for real farm

1. Remove pump direct connect with battery for testing pump working.
2. Remove sensor from relay module then place the sensor into water. Check the moisture sensor digital led on and off. If it works good then connect with relay module.
3. Then check the relay on and off, you can hear relay sound and led indication.
If all are good connect all devices properly then test again. Pump must work. If still it doesn't work change the battery.
Relay common point what is that
3 pins in relay 1. Common 2. normally open, 3. Normally Close
In this project we give input to common pin
Yellow wire fited In 5V relay

Yes bro . Because the moisture sensor and relay are working with 5V supply. If we give 9V directly the sensor will be fault.
Otherwise we can use DC to DC power supply board. It will convert high DC to voltage to 5 voltage.
