Night 6 on ICON OF THE SEAS - 2nd Formal Night, The Effectors w/ a Technical Difficulty

- Join us as we embark on the @RoyalCaribbean Icon of the Seas out of the Port of Miami for a 7-night Eastern Caribbean Cruise. This was for Spring Break 2024 and we left on March 23, 2024.
This vlog covers the 6th night of our cruise, which was also the 2nd formal night. Unlike on other ships, there are 2 lobster nights in the Main Dining Room.
We also went to see The Effectors, An Origin Story. It was in previews, so reservations were not available. We watched about 15 minutes and then they had a technical difficulty, leaving a performer suspended in mid-air (literally). We waited about 5 minutes and it didn't seem like it would be coming back up anytime soon, so we left. However, from what we saw, the show looked good.
All in all, it was a great night.

Haha my husband wasn't thrilled when I dragged him to all the shows on ICON. How many casino points did you end up with? Royal should send you some offers in the mail, usually takes a couple of months, but you should receive some for free cruises. I get them all the time now. I don't pay for any cruise any more. It's really nice, but that initial investment is what's hard, but it should pay off for you with the offers they will send you. Happy Cruising :)
We started getting them within 2 weeks. We ended up with just over 1500 points. The "free" cruise we booked when they were offering the kids sail free promo, so all we had to do was pay for Rider's port fees & taxes (in addition to ours). We are looking at a few weekend cruises coming up as well. Totally worth the initial investment, since we live so close to 2 major ports.
