25 minutes of Waverazor sounds

- Here I'm showing 25 minutes of knob tweaking in a new VST synthesizer called Waverazor. This is still version 1.01 hence there is no parameter editor to alter the effects more precisely. I start with a preset but this synth is wild and a "bass" patch quickly enters swirly reverb pad mode.
This is the first time using this synth for me and I have to say it has sparked a lot of ideas already - the parameters change the sounds so drastically that there ends up being 5-6 "sweet spots" per patch. It is super good for glitchy digitally distorted/noisy sounds, hence why I tried to use it for a pad/pluck combo. Being able to change the different sections of a wave is interesting.
I have a midi keyboard attached so if the sequencer stops it's me playing. I am aware the video and audio are out of sync, I'm not sure why this is as they were recorded together... Any suggestions on better audio/video sync are welcome.
Any requests, talk to me below :) Видеоклипы
I really like the metallic and aggressive sound of this synth. Kinda like Razor, but unique!! ps. After watching this video for 15 minute, hearing those ambient soundscapes... I must say this is a beast of a synth!
Can you post that GlassFET patch somewhere? I can't follow everything you did in the video
Maybe the sound is easier to manage if the buttons and sliders have midi-learn.
Than you can link these to an external controller such as FL's envelope- or LFO-tools.
Waveform9 Tracktions flagship DAW allows you to midi learn anything and actually has LFOs built into theyre automation allowing u to use a LFO to automate any parameter of any vst.
Since you have the synth in a Patcher instance (cause you're not retarded, right), right-click Waverazor, click input, click parameters. Your last tweaked parameter is gonna be the first one.
How much factory presets in it?
practically infinite
There's this thing called an editor in it. Right there. On the front page.
You can use it to make more sounds than you could hear in your life.
If it's presets you want, Waverazor LE is free, has some tweakability, and plenty of presets as far as I can tell.
What DAW is that mate? Sounds like early Kraftwerk?
Kronos Transmission
Traktion 9
Kronos Transmission looks like
FL studio to me
it's FL Studio
Yeah my bad its def FL Studio. Traktion makes this synth and theyre DAW Waveform 9 looks just like this with the same colors.
Vincent Salamatino I used the free version of Tracktion and didn't think much of it. There are other free DAW's which are much better.
Pro Tools First is way to heavy and dysfunctional.
Reaper is light and probably the most powerful.
Ableton Live Lite is popular and great for DJs.
Cubase LE is better on PC than Mac.
I always found FL Studio to be resource consuming but it is as popular as Logic Pro X and Ableton Live.
Experimental stuff, dissonant tones - unusable imo.
There is nothing like unusable in music. Music is based on sound and everything is sound. The "unusability" and the description "experimental" are just made up by your mind. Nothing more than concepts you have learned.
I could easily hear this being used to make a fire Terminator movie sound track
ever heard of Burial???
"unusable" in music LMAO this person has no imagination
Nah, it's extremely versatile. Only the factory sounds are unusable. The template presets are great to work from.
