Tomb Raider III - The Quick and the Dead Trophy (Updated After Patch)

Level - Area 51 (Do not allow guards to touch the handprint scanners)
I have updated the video since the latest patch seems to have increased the required number of guard kills by one. Someone did say to me that 6 were needed, but when I tested the trophy, it popped immediately after killing the fifth. But I added a note at the end since 2 more guards appear after you pull the switches in that final room in the video, who could potentially activate that hand scanner.

Rocket glitch didn't work no matter which way I swung it. But, to be fair - its 5 mins tops doing it properly. Unlocked at the end as intended. Thanks for the vid.

How do you do a somersault while squatting? game on ps5

Its the same button you use to sprint - but - you cant roll after crawling. You have to crouch, then press run button in the direction you want. Then pivot on the spot and press run button again. If you start crawling forward, she wont roll.

I didn't know if you were maybe talking about the turret trophy (since I don't know if there are handprint scanners in the previous level), but unless things have changed, anything you did in High Security Compound shouldn't matter. I set off the turret outside the room where you get your weapons back and still got that trophy in Area 51. This recording was done post-patch on an alt account through level skipping so I’m fairly confident it doesn’t matter, or if it does, you can at least quickly get the trophy through level skipping after your playthrough.

The button glitch to launch the rocket does not work anymore it was stupidly patched

Also, in case it’s not clear from the video, you need to deselect “walk to action” in the menu

@@AdamDawson3 This is the PS4 version on PS5 if that makes a difference, but yeah, that setting makes Lara move when you try to interact with something which seems to push you out of that area. I hope it works for you now anyway!

Shortcut worked for me with Patch#3 (PS4 version on PS5). :)
