Great subject… I am more interested in this type of discussion than camera or genre discussion. Visualization and process execution is where is at for me. Being able to see the image in my head and then working for the composition down to the processing to get the image I envisioned is my interest. The San Juan Mountain image is fabulous, and the first photo shown was impressive. I also like to shoot 56mm and wider. If I can’t get it, I’ll get closer.
Thank you very much Marc for this amazing interview. I admire Witherill's work and it has been a great opportunity to learn about his approach to photography. I'm looking forward to seeing more interviews with him soon!
I guess I am pretty late, but I just checked out Huntington's website after watching this video which dropped some gems....BUT...that Enigmata gallery!!! How do you even begin taking photos like that? I kinda have an idea, but I could be completely wrong. Anyway, is there a tutorial or just some key concepts/ideas in which I can begin my quest to play with shots like that?

Thanks, nice one. The “put your lens where your eye is” is a great tip
