If you don’t like vintage campers why did you buy one??? What would you think if someone decided to finger paint over an original Picasso? My guess is that you could care less. I really hope that you will research and watch some videos on 1950’s trailer restorations to see what you are destroying. There are zero double decker busses available anymore, making your purchase extremely valuable… that is, before you destroyed it. Now it’s not worth much at all. Why do you think that the last owners, or any of the previous owners never remodeled this? If you had restored it keeping true to the era, you could have resold that for at least $100,000. That workbench looks terrible. That stove is worth about $5000. The flooring looks cheap, Home Depot sells vintage flooring. Why would you think that anyone would appreciate you taking a work of art and making it look crappy?

I just showed my husband the video of the trailer because I thought it was so neat. We both gasped when he said he was going to gut it. My husband repairs and restores rv's and we've only seen one this old. The wood upstairs, the cabinets and all of that is basically irreplaceable unless this guy is loaded and can pay a master craftsman to come rebuild anything like that. They don't put real wood in rv's anymore either. This is an exquisite and unique piece. I hope he will reconsider if he hasn't cut up the insides yet.
