Honda have solved a problem that never existed in the first place .... The fact that you can't see any GPS display on the bike's instrumment pannel, makes Road Sync a white elephant, imho ....

Hi, thanks for taking the time to make these videos. Can I ask if you know is this system the same as the one on the new X-ADV 750 / Forza ?
And I know you love the 350 but did you ever consider the larger 750 X-ADV . I have the first series X-ADV 750 2018 but it doesnt have the connect system, but I love it. Also, I remember from your year after video you mention some pet hates / dislikes. I can report that I get 73.7 for my average since ownership and 6,000 miles use, which I think is outstanding. I have had the average on a long run upto 88mpg when used in grandad mode tootling along within the limits. Thanks once again.

Hi, thanks for the comments, I'm not sure whether the 750 has roadsync, but I would imagine it has.
I didn't consider the 750 personally because I only wanted a small economical bike mainly for getting to work and back, I didn't realise just how capable this 350 would be .,thanks again for watching 👍

Do you realize this app records, stores and probably sends somewhere all the trips you do on your scooter? Or do you really like ”Big Brother” watching you? An ”old school” GPS receiver, with updated charts is better.

They don't have a engine temperature gauge, you just get a overheating light come up on the screen if it overheats.
Luckily it's never happened to me .

I do not like two things:
    - impossoble to run app when not conected to ADV
    - only voice interface to search for destination
    EDIT:
I did hope 'navigation' here means you have arrows pointing straight, right or left. NO. It does not display such information ('for safety reason'). More, ignition must be ON to connect with ADV. So this is piece of crap.

This app request too much access to my phone, and for what? For using scooter handlebar buttons to control my phone? There is a simple BT helmet headset available for that, or even the phone earbuds. Moreover, talking on the phone while driving and esecially riding, diminishes the driver/ rider attention by around 40%, even with hands-free, as some statistics say. Usually, I don't make or take phone calls while driving/riding. Eventually, I find a proper place to stop/ park and then I use the Phone.
For nav, I have a dedicated Garmin GPS receiver. Listen to music while riding? Hmmm... Some ear defender which can stiil let you hear the traffic sound would be safer. I rarely listen music while driving, only when travelling in light traffic, only on express or motorway, and never in town.
Conclusion: anything and any gadget or car/ motorbike non essential feature which can distract from driving/ riding safely, has no use for myself, and probably others should consider doing the same. The statistics are full of accidents with thousands of lost or changed forever lives, caused by people being on phones, instead of paying attention to their driving/ riding.
I want to die at a very old age, in my bed, not lying in a puddle of blood or burnt on asphalt.
