I think if you guys want to teach him he needs to learn the basics.
And he needs to learn them in an environment where you don't have to worry about educating him on the very bare minimum basics as well as try to actually get a push out.
Something like a custom or a private Weapon Roulette match would be much more relaxed in pace.
He needs to know which angles are head level and crouch level especially on longer sight lines like hallways, How to keep his crosshair placement stable when rotating.
He needs to know how counters work, For instance he could have used one of his ash charges on a mira window. with finka, boosting before a push. and the impacts... just yikess lol.
He needs to know how to distinguish sounds from other sounds in a more controlled environment. Whether that is on his own time whether that is the two of you in a private match, Or whether he has to watch a youtube video that showcases sound cues because there are many of them
He needs to learn pre firing once he gets his crosshair placement down.
You can see every time he dies he is frustrated but he is trying to seek improvement and he questions what he did wrong or what he could do better which is good, But I think some backseat gaming might be more appropriate so that he's not alone in this effort of trying to think on what he could have done better.
Generally speaking I try to teach new players the mechanics of the game and the strategy behind it. Because gunplay while important is something you can only learn overtime with experience. And most of you guys are honestly not playing with a lot of strategy but more so playing team Deathmatch.
I think the Best person to teach Doc how to play this game by far would be Macie Jay.

@@BIGHEADjr51someone needs to tell him to get in shooting range and learn to control recoil and mess with his sensitivity. It’s a little too high for him if he was able to master recoil control he’d have such an easier time. And if he started doing map training he’d learn the maps really fast
pretty sure we all did this when we JUST started playing the game.
that sh*t triggers me especially when in all reality you don't need map knowledge to know what you can and can't shoot through. if it looks like stone or bricks, you can't do it
@jackiesimplejake fr map knowledge is really overhyped. Yes it helps knowing spots and where stairs are and stuff, but the skill of clearing a room should be universal

Siege has got to be overwhelming in the beginning. Operator abilities, map knowledge, angles, setup, sound queues and a whole lot more that other players already have in you.

You can get to gold easily with just aim alone and like 20 hours to learn all the operators and map layouts. Everything else will come with playtime.
@@SnowMexicann Aim can get you far. But once you’re at a higher level fragging isn’t good enough for you or your team.
@@swiftaudi Thats true, but also look at Shroud. 350 hours on R6 and hes already hit champion, he has a background on CS, the only transferrable skill between those two games and Siege is aim.
@@SnowMexicannI meannnnnn, they have very similar play styles, attacking vs defending, bomb plants, holding angles. Rainbow just has more happening in terms of operators a destroyable walls and what not

Were you actually able to stream on twitch with doc without getting banned? Also what a colab! Its cool to see doc get to play with people who know what they are doing but are able to still be helpful and help teach him the game. Siege isnt an easy game for newer people to learn ive been playing for 7 years and theres still new stuff i learn sometimes.

I will die on the hill of The original ranked system was better, Anyone above platinum was reset to somewhere above silver so that the coppers could actually progress to a higher ranked status than copper LMAO. Instead of this bogus system of "oh season reset is here lets make everyone copper." It is actually so dumb to have champs OR anyone above plat reset to copper at the beginning of season. destroys the entire lower ecosystem of ranked. I get brand new players on my team consistently, i love helping them learn the game but not when i'm trying to progress in ranked and i'm faced against people who have been champ for 4 season in a row and they just haven't played this season so they are here in copper LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOO I don't take ranked seriously with this system at all ( all of this is coming from a player who has played ALL 9 years of the game. I wish to see it have a healthier ranked system. but i'm afraid we'll never see it again unfortunately)
