I have terrible back flexibility yet gumbi is my most powerful setup for swing tricks (easy dubs). I can't even do the bridge properly. It's all about the hip flexibility. You really need only as much back and shoulder flexibility as a basic handstand requires, but the closer you are the splits the better.
Back and shoulder flexibility can help but aren't essential nor the factor that makes your gumbi good.

I agree and it seems he has good flexibility in his shoulder even more than you but to me your gumbis are way more powerful from what i have seen i could be wrong

I'd include wrist flexibility too, specially in the first hand

@@hecttorPKFR true that's one of the most important parts too and gumbi isn't really hard you just need the right angle one you establish that you will arch naturally

@@hecttorPKFR Well yeah if it's really bad it can be a problem. I wouldn't say mine is that good. Weak wrists are a huge problem though!

Great tips man, been following you for years now, been on and off in tricking but come back on your channel everyday.
The fingertip is great, and the back flexibility routine you did was good to watch, I'll do that !
Would you be able to give us a shoulder one ? Now my back is getting better but on the td raiz and bridge my shoulders and arms can't keep straight 😅
Thanks in advance and thanks so much for your videos bro 🙏👌

Great video! I work every day on my gumbi, but I have two questions: Is there a good setup to easily get the momentum with the kicking leg to perform the gumbi? How can I get used to have this bridge-stretch during the gumbi?
