JIO actually changed the entire thought of internet connections in India. Airtel , Vodafone were very very costly , had chitting business after coming jio all have lined up and customer recharge price has gone down.
You are absolutely right but the companies like airtel and vodaphone were charging more money to develope more efficient spectrum with high speed internet. As a result the upcoming 5g is sub6 gigahertz 5g not the milimeter wave because the companies are having very low revenue to develope their high speed internet . Jio for super high speed downloads, really impressive but takes breaks while doing so but no problem about that, it's a refresh I think, Airtel for better stability, low latency (better ping), consistency (no fluctuations), for stable gaming (if over cellular network, idk if jiofiber even qualifies these things). Airtel doesn't show false hopes, like making your network available in most places but very slow, if it can't provide it doesn't waste its bandwidth for showoff.
Initially I was having all jio sims for my family members.I was also using jio router jioFi up to 2019...but after Jio services found going down as signal strength went to almost zero in our area (Pathardi Phata-Nashik-Maharashtra) which caused zero internet connectivity & every recharge found going waste.Even after repeated complaints Jio neglected to improve till the date.Due this we shifted to Airtel in 2020 and till the date we all are getting stronger signal strength in all seasons.With Internet data packs useful OTT services also made available by Airtel , free of cost , through Airtel Xstream....Hence we like/love Airtel..
I m using airtel from the start...even though the plans are not cheaper than jio ..but airtel is providing best network in rural areas like hills and villages while jio doesn't catch network in those areas....and most importantly the speed of internet of airtel is awesome....and jio is only working in india ...but airtel is providing services in whole europe and other continents as well.

Moreover the pricing is less as compared to Airtel and VI. Moreover extra data offered by VI in the midnight to early morning slot does not seem good. They provide us better and faster internet and their internet is so stable than in games like CODM and BGMI it gives aroubd 60-70 ms ping on mobile data where in jio its around 200ms. Main reason of airtel growth is their internet speed. They provide us better and faster internet and their internet is so stable than in games like CODM and BGMI it gives aroubd 60-70 ms ping on mobile data where in jio its around 200ms. Speed of airtel even in rural area is aroubd 10 mbps where jio gives 1-2 mbps

In my place Airtel didn't work so we buy jio but at covid 19 time i used airtel.that time airtel provide us 10 or 20gb data free uhh i still remember how airtel help us. that time we need so much internet for online classes and etc
