- Craig Owens and Thomas Erak of Chiodos talk about addiction and some of the effects it can have on a person who can't get out of it.

Its very hard for me to find any sympathy for addicts because of how i've been treated by addicts but hearing that struggle through these two definitely opened my eyes a bit
The truth is that most addicts are typically somewhat blacked out. My brother was addicted to xanax for years and he’s missing years of his memory from it.
addiction is ultimately a disease of self-pity and entitlement, but at the same time, no one who's ahead in life ever wakes up and says to themselves "you know what? today seems like a great day to try heroin"
I've never stolen or hurt anybody when I was using. I stayed in a hotel room. I'm appalled at how disgusting they can act. After they get clean they ALWAYS struggle with embarrassment and regret.
Certainly don’t when they’re using lmfao. It takes a certain breed to have the self discipline to assume responsibility for their addiction
Love what Jake has done with this idea, and hope to see it grow. I myself have been sober almost 5 years and would love to take part in the evolution of heart support.
Amazingly Spoken ❤ Blessings to all who struggle with heavy heart s and addiction s to lighten the load ❤️ Respect
This is so rad. Love what you guys are doing.
That being said, I find it pretty silly you choose to play a track that neither Erak nor Owens were a part of whatsoever. Lololol
Gary Glitter I wouldn’t necessarily say they “resent” the album, Craig has never listened to it to this day, aside from hearing bits and pieces on accident. (source: he’s my vocal teacher)
Tyler Bentson Wow! You are lucky
When a Brandon chiodos song plays when Craig chiodos is interviewed. Welp....awkward......
Btw was song is it
that was the first thing that popped into my head haha
It’s Closed Eyes Still Look Forward
😁
more rock bands should be doing this, takes courage to let your guard down in public. most rockers promote a shitty lifestyle, only the mature ones know where that road leads and grow up
Hey forget what's this song in back ground? I remember hearing years ago but I can't remember where I heard it?
you have to do a lot of self searching and figuring out to get a grip on the reigns of addiction. you need to really dig deep to find yourself and get out.
This lasted like what 5 months? He was in and out of this band before anyone realized it.
is it me or does it seem like they both are on the verge of crying
Craig Owens deals with addiction himself. Probably looking within...
Thomas Erak told me one time that he just has the world's worst resting bitch face and hes not actually as sad or upset as he usually looks
what were they on?
Everything my guy
They smoked one joint
Thomas was on heroin
@@user-yf2lk5gi7q he said he never did full blown H just smoked pills, but their drummer did H
what did craig personally struggle with? if anyone here knows
in a rehab now. i swear this addiction will kill me
NO IT WONT HOMIE!!!! STAY STRONG! FACING FEAR WITHOUT FEAR ON YOUR FACE!!!
they are really great musicians and I happen to be going down memory lane and im sad to say all the vids coming up for this band is about drug addiction I wish theyd put this energy into their music hope they get it together and stop harping on their mistakes and fucking get back to music cos obviously they could go places
Lee Murph They are helping others. Don't be selfish.
Ok
What the fuck? They've been hella places and back, they take time for some heart to heart and all you can say is "just get back to music"
