  • Learn how to make DIY whipped Himalayan salt scrub. Exfoliating with salt scrubs can boost circulation & contribute to collagen production. Our scrub is made of pure Himalayan salt which cleanses pores, promotes skin brightening, & fades the appearance of acne scars. It has trace minerals that are essential in balancing the skin’s pH level. It calms irritated, itchy, & rough skin due to its anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties.
It also contains orange peel powder which helps to lighten & brighten the skin naturally. Vitamin C in the peel powder cleanses the skin deeply & unclogs pores by removing excess oil. The oatmeal powder provides gentle exfoliation, leading to smoother & more radiant skin.
    Benefits:
    Remove dead skin.
    Detox & revitalize skin cells.
    Reduce cellulite.
    Tightens the skin.
    Cleanse the pores.
    Formulation method:
    1. Add preweighed phase A ingredients one by one & heat them in a hot water bath for 15 minutes.
    2. Remove it from the water bath & leave it to cool down.
    3. Meantime, weigh the phase B ingredients in a small bowl.
    4. Add the phase B ingredients & stir well.
    5. Place the blend in the fridge for 20 minutes.
    6. Remove from the fridge, add the phase C ingredients one by one & start whipping the scrub till it turns a creamy texture.
    7. Place it back into the fridge for another 20 minutes.
    8. Once the scrub is thickened then remove it from the fridge & whip the blend one more time till it turns a fluffy texture.

I love the skin feel Olivem 1000 leaves on the skin. Makes for a nice background for the salt

Can you double, triple the recipe or do you find that results are best making one batch at a time?

Thank you for this. Is there anything I can use to substitute the orange peel and oatmeal powder?
