I have few questions; which plan should I get? I’m interested doing that; is there a limitations in how many blueprints can create & sell? Last one; what is the difference between blueprints vs permanent site?
Thanks
This is absolutely brilliant. Thanks, Adam, for sharing this. In your video - you also answered another question I had about using ZipWP for an existing website - and the answer was starter templates. Again, brilliant. I appreciate you. Thanks so much. 🙏
Awesome! Yea Starter Templates has a wonderful integration with the AI Website Builder.
How does hosting work? If want to sell these blueprints and a customer buys it, where is the site hosted? I guess it requires they have a paid plan on ZipWP?
I believe you can clone it with a plugin and migrate it to your own hosting.
This sound awesome, but it doesn't sound as if you can use this for an existing website and you have to actually build it inside Blueprint? I suppose you can copy everything over (somehow). Not a programmer as you may tell. But definitely something I may use.
You could easily copy your website into ZipWP and turn it into a blueprint.
You kind of lost me when you said the person has access to the site for 4 hours... Another question regarding selling the blueprints - if plugins are fee based then they can not be included and resold can they? Or does this only consider free plugins?
Yes, if they don't have an account, the site will expire in 4 hours. If they do have an account, free or paid, the site will stay for longer.
You lost me too with this. I think if you created an agency plan with subaccounts that ZipWP can charge per subaccount or provide unlimited subaccounts and include the cost in the agency plan you'll provide a better monetization platform for agencies. Just something to think about.
I'm not sure how this is helpful to agencies. After I spin up an instance then I have to what, use some migration plugin to copy the blueprint instance to my actual project?
A plug-in I can install in my project that will sync from my blueprints would be super handy
I think you may be misunderstanding how agencies leverage all the features in ZipWP. They are building out the entire project in the ZipWP platform, start to finish. They are using the white label URL feature, and of course the lightning fast hosting.
@@ZipWP ah. So your intent is that the agencies would use zipwp to actually host their clients website? That's pretty neat for simple agencies that mostly put together brochure websites.
An agency that's going to be building out custom theme and or plugins probably won't really like this as they're going to want to develop locally and probably have a hosting solution already.
I stand by my statement that it would be really useful in my opinion if I could spin up a project in my local instance like I normally would, install the ZIP WP plugin, choose one of my blueprints from a drop down, click a button and boom it imports the blueprint into my local project and then I can begin building from there. I've used something similar in the past but it was a bit clunky.
Hi Adam, this is great - but how can I get the blueprint link to use my custom domain? I have created a blueprint site with the plugins I allways use for new sites, but when clicking the link to make a new site based on the blueprint, it generates a site with a zipwp.link-URL instead of my custom domain which I set up (the custom domain works when I generate a blank website from the Sites-tab)?
The templates look great in pictures. But when you actually produce the websites they look very rudimentary. Let down
Are you referring to our AI Website Builder? It's 100%, what you see/chose is what you got. No discrepancy. Maybe you have ZipWP confused with some other AI website builder.
