And I vacationed out of town with friends and even my boyfriend who was in the air force at the age of 15 and often times was even better behaved than other adults around me! The only time mine didn't know where I was! Was during the RODEO CHEDISKY FIRE in Northern AZ back in like 2001-2002 I was out of town in Showlow with my best friend and Boyfriend from Luke Air Force base packing up his parents woodland home before evacuations were announced! But because of the state of emergency phone lines were overwhelmed with all circuits busy for over 15 hours. Many road closures leaving only one way for over 45,000+ residents to flee! A drive to the valley that would normally take 3 to 3 1/2 hours to make! Took almost 10 hours due to heavy traffic minimal infrastructure for our roads making an exhausting stressful drive. One that led straight to the first motel in Mesa his parents could find rooms available at! When watching the news still unable to get through to my parents cause they were also tying up the line trying to find me. I noticed my name flash across the screen on A Red Cross still missing persons list! I was able to get through to them to let them know where I was, they informed my mom when she called again! Anyways parents with the best intentions for they're kids that discipline them raise them right are not guaranteed that they're kids are gonna be well behaved or not! Are your kids perfect? Peak season and it gets expensive, it is mostly well off families on vacation and it settles down. In September when kids are back in school, the families leave and the retirees take over for Sept-October. I would not go to Wildwood in May in any decade.

I tried to advise my son on several things, it didn't work. There's only so much you can say to some teens. The parents can punish them however by first letting them know to not hang around other teens who cause major chaos, and then take away their cell phones after a certain hour for a couple weeks.

These young men and women are already causing the problems because they possess not self-control or even the desire to act civilly. Don’t give them more and better tools to be able to act out. You are right they need discipline, but it needs to be via a different system (criminal system is where this used to happen in some states-so long as liberal and woke politics were not part of the picture) and they must prove they are no-longer a threat to society and themselves before getting the privilege to go into military training.

I went there last year and it was bad then to. I grew up in New Jersey and it was never like this until the last 5 years.
Our liberal governor decided that he was going to go easy on the young thugs and told the police not to make so many arrests.
They were only allowed to get citations but not arrested.

As a local. most of us stay home on weekends because of loud crowds and traffic. We go to the beach Tues-Thurs. I can't help but wonder if it's the people who descend on this area, the rude, nasty ones that come here and treat us worse than DIRT from other areas (one state in particular!) that may be causing a good deal of the problems!!
As a resident of South Jersey me and my friends stopped going to Wildwood 25 years ago due to all of the troublemaker's .It was usually groups from Philly and Camden that would cause most of the trouble.

Simple solution, arrest them, trespass them, press charges.
Put their asses in millitary schools. Good education and discipline. Accountability to these kids running a muck and their parents.

Military is not a daycare. Why do they have to do the job their parent didn’t.
That would be foolish. If you put unruly youth into military schools, you just train them to be deadly, older and stronger unruly young men and women. The self-control issue needs to be dealt with first, through appropriate consequences , before ever they should be put into the funnel to become first-line defenders of our country.
These young men and women are already causing the problems because they possess not self-control or even the desire to act civilly. Don’t give them more and better tools to be able to act out.
You are right they need discipline, but it needs to be via a different system (criminal system is where this used to happen in some states-so long as liberal and woke politics were not part of the picture) and they must prove they are no-longer a threat to society and themselves before getting the privilege to go into military training.
