Because the LA scene is a vapid travesty that brings out his fake business character, and Austin has just been one long bit. NYC is his roots and he doesn't do a wealthy nihilist impression.
I saw Tim heading to this podcast on a subway in New York. There was a sandwich that nobody claimed in the subway and Tim said he was owed said sandwich by birthright and nobody better touch it. He towered over it like a cat until everyone left and then slowly ate it before leaving to this podcast. Great guy.
You've heard of "laugh a minute"? Shane + Timmy was a laugh a second, nay, several laughs per second. Overlapping laughs every second. I couldn't even hear what they were saying sometimes because of all of the laughter. You owe it to yourself to go check it out and say I'm wrong.
I’ve been on all these recent Tim appearances it’s so fun! I felt like MSSP could’ve went for longer though 🥲 also they were kinda low energy, I don’t think they understand how amazing Tim really is!
@@Dustin101 yeah! The comedy world needs Nick Mullen at the moment.. here's hoping he blows up with this special. One of the few comics that actually makes me 'lol'.
So glad to hear Tim shoutout the show Bloodline. Such a masterpiece, and they ended it at 3 seasons right when they should. It is an absolutely amazing show, I remember watching it back when netflix just released it. It’s literally one of the best shows on the platform, I can’t believe it was not bigger…. Can’t recommend that show enough. Casting, setting, everything is so damn good.
First off excellent pod. Second, I’m a giant Farley fan. Thank you so much Tim Dillon for being a bigger fan and providing me with excellent unknown Farley material I didnt know existed. Farley truly was a master in likability and executing risky live comedy. Truly a legend Farley was.
Thanks for appreciating the Tampa area. I love comedy. The heat is rough. Im glad you guys like it down here. I cant wait to see one of you live. Ive only had a chance to go to the improv so far.
Just seen Mark Normand on Saturday in Sac! He killllleddd !! Best comedy show I’ve been too. Laughed my ass off ! If you guys get the chance to see him please do ! 🙌🏼
If it’s a good guest I hit the Sunday listen on AYG. If it’s someone I don’t know I save it for Monday at work lmao. Looks like no AYG tomorrow morning
Tim is probably more entertaining than most of the top comics, but I don't think his stand up truly warrants such an incredible ranking. In comparison, look at a comedian like Joe List and how polished his sets are. I don't think Tim's comedy on stage compares to these fine tuned machines like Moril, Normand, List, etc.. I hope he gets there though. Huge fan though, don't get me wrong.
@@ToneSoCooL3 I rarely watch stand-up at all but I've sampled most of my favorite podcasters. I watched Tim's special, and I had heard most of the material from podcasts, except his delivery was this weird stagey almost sing-songy cadence the whole time and it got pretty annoying real quick. They're all much funnier on podcasts, imo. Except Louis CK, who's hilarious in any medium.
Tim has been making serious rounds this last two weeks. Of the podcasts I watch and listen to this is like the 7th one he's been on this month besides his. What a treat. Some fake business
Mark is like a cartoon character who is holding back the worst pain the world has ever seen but it comes out funny just so he doesn’t kill himself. It’s actually beautiful when you think about it but please don’t think about it too long
You guys should but a bit of (non-copyrighted) background music when doing ads for those of us who do the audio only. Sometimes it’s hard to tell if it’s an ad or not until I hear “use code drunk” 😂

Loved the pod, and very happy they let it drag on cause I think it gets even better towards the end. I think these guys are of the best comedians of their generation.

They've officially made it 😊 I love me some Timmy D
Because he told us to..
Me too but no thank you on Sam Whatever his last name is…… 😴 😴 🦗 🦗 🦗
Tim is always at his best when he’s hanging with New York comics. He’s seems happier and having fun.
Yeah, he seems happier in NY.
it really feels like he's at home and comfortable.
he is loose and can fire off his killer stuff

East coast kids really stick together, thats why i really got into MSSP , some ppl just give u a vibe that you grew up w ppl like that in ur hometown

100% true, I was also there

🤣Thank you for sharing this
Tim Dillon is comedy gold. What a cross over. Thanks fellas. That shot made my day.
gold jerry gold!
I love Tim’s consistent referring to “we”
When you're the size of 2 people...
As a well-known ally of the English crown in general, and Harry and Meagan specifically, he gets to use the royal “we”.
Tims monied now.
