Thank you ❤ They are actually the factory strings, I have no idea what they are, I’d guess some cheap brand. I’ve heard great things about the Nylgut strings by Aquila but haven’t tried them. They are propably the ones I’ll be trying.
What is your verdict on the guitalele? Seems very nice to play, well made with solid woods, and sounds great. Im looking to pickup one now since i only have steel string 3/4 and full size guitars atm.
Hi, thanks for the comment. I like it, but to be honest, I can’t seem to find much use for it. I use a bigger acoustic, a normal Yamaha 4/4, capo if needed to this type of register. About six months of use, the honeymoon is over and it doesn’t get played too much. A fun guitar, but nothing to write home about.
@ i appreciate the reply; maybe it becomes the go to travel guitar or when looking for a jam session its another option to have around. I think that is worth $200 especially if you played it for 6 months straight. 6 string steel full size or even 3/4 will see far more play yes, but for baroque type of sound or even a more familiar uke experience this may be the best option ive seen for the price point. At least guitar center offers 45 day returns so maybe ill pick one up and see what happens.
@ The baroque sound you mentioned is a excellent point. It certainly nails that ’small body guitar sound’ for obvious reason, and it can’t be recreated in the same way. A bigger guitar sounds bigger no matter what. And yes, it is a great travel guitar, because of the nut width, it feels like a guitar and not like a toy or something maybe some other small guitars feel like…
Very nicely played and interesting sound, i wonder why they don't offer a pickup in this model...that would make more sense in my opinion
Beautiful and very relaxing to listen to - 3.5 minutes of anti-stress, splendid!
Thank you for listening ❤
