The black coffee thing is great and all, but, in the grand scheme of things, you might be saving yourself from 2 teaspoons of sugar by going this route. I think a much better tip for the vast majority of people who be to cut out that sugary snack you eat each day, or how about that Mountain Dew that has an entire cup of sugar in it. Cut out the sugar in your coffee when you're down to absolutely nothing and it's the last thing left... it's far from the worst thing you're putting in your body, I promise.

Most of them are great. I just don't comply with wearing sunscreen or black coffee. Getting under the sun us extremely benefitial for our bodies. I drink black coffee every morning while i'm fasting, I enjoy it, but there´s nothing wrong to add some cow's milk or cream from time to time if you're not fasting (not sugar of course)
Hello Tae, I have been watching your channel for the last year. Wanted to thank you for your willingness to share your knowledge with us. This video in particular really hits home and I will share this list with my three children and their spouses. Happy New Year! may 2024 be your best ever!
Super important to not follow the advice of using someone's name. Once or twice maybe, in greeting and farewell but the more you use it the less genuine you sound and more likely you are to engender distrust in that person's heart. I hate to hear my name beyond what is absolutely necessary; over a decade in customer service I see it only as someone who wants a discount or for me to bend the rules for them, falsifying a rapport by repeating my name as if I don't see through it. Often I am distrustful even with friends who start using my name more than is needed, and it is a quick way for me to distance myself to avoid that discomfort.
Wow, those tipps are really helpful. Everyone should know about them! I already do the most of them but have the feeling that a lot of people never heard of
Well done for the clearly worded and precise points. Maybe this goes without saying, but I think that prioritizing should be on that list and focusing on important/ urgent as well as imporant/ non urgent tasks is essential to keep moving toward our goals.

About the coffee tip; make sure to understand not all takeaway coffee has sugar. If you can and are able to buy from specialty coffee places, do know you're able to drink lattes and flat whites too since they're traditionally made with only espresso and milk. Keep away from sugar, but definitely don't constrain yourself with only drinking "black" coffee.

So what exactly is the problem with a latte? I'd caution against removing such a pleasure from your life if it is one on minor grounds.

Thank you for your advice. I hope my unsolicited advice is helpful to you too: you will look like rockstar if you do a eyelid cosmetic surgery. You will look ten years younger too.
My philosophy for a while has not been “what kind of person would my dad want me to be” but rather “what kind of person would I want my child to be.” Since taking that mindset, I’ve been able to prioritize my own morals a lot better and think clearly about what matters most to me 😊
wow. i could actually cry, this is such a revelation. I have grappled for 14 years about what sort of parent I am and what MY parents would do or think, when in reality, God gave me my child because, when all is said and done, my husband and I are meant to parent him. And I have to live the life that inspires my child and sets him up to fulfil his Own potential.
True, I lived a lot of my life how my parents wanted and grew up with this illusion that "they are my parents they know what they're talking about" when in reality they know just as little as I did back then. I grew out of that and figured I should be what I wanted to be, taking my own decision. My parents think they gave me a good education and i'm a good person because they're good examples but in reality I chose not to be like them and follow my own morals and beliefs. If I were to take their advice I would've finished college and went to work on something else because apparently the field I have a degree in "wasn't very profitable nor it had a lot of work opportunities". I knew the numbers, I knew the statistics and I put in the effort. After 3 years in my field I earn almost 3x what my mom earned working 20 years in the same place she is in
I wish i learnt most of these principles about seven years ago. A lot of people have been trapped strongly in the matrix-- Go to school, get a job, and then slave your whole life. Many miss out on life-changing information that could have great effect on their finances. I played with the stock market sometime in 2020, and I was surprised at how well it turned out. I want to put in $90k more into the market. I heard people are making really great returns despite the downturn. Any recommendations?

Creating wealth entails establishing positive routines, such as consistently setting aside funds at regular intervals for sound investments. Financial management is a vital subject that many avoid, often leading to future regrets.
Indeed, currently I'm managing my finances wisely and being frugal. In the last 19 months, my investments grew by 43%, adding over $650K in profits. However, I've had losses in the past month, making me anxious. I'm unsure whether to sell everything or wait.
I always consult a financial advisor before investing. During the pandemic, I used their strategies to minimize risks and maximize profits, generating around $875k in two years with my advisor
@@mariaguerrero08 I'm intrigued by the idea of investing with an analyst, it seems like a wise choice in today's market. Could you provide me with some guidance on how to get in touch ?
Loved this speedy video format, & content! I used to keep a notebook where I wrote down a memorable quote from every book I read. It may be something intriguing, controversial, or just funny. Haven’t done that for many years now & I don’t know why. I still have that notebook & this video has encouraged me to challenge myself to get back to that habit.
I'm 27 and what I always tell young kids (17-18-19 year olds or younger) is. Take care of your health first and foremost. Taking care of your skin, hair, teeth, body etc is the best thing you can do. If you have a healthy body you have a healthy mind, all of this needs work. Doesn't matter if you read and study every day if you don't exercise, eat properly and take care of yourself. Same way if you exercise and work out but you don't study (you work out your body and you don't work out your brain? Really?). It's like a video game, at first life helps you: you can eat junk food, you can exercise poorly, you can ignore your health problems your body is growing and can handle all of that. You'll be skinny, your blood will be great, your skin will be perfect. But suddenly, you find yourself in your mid 20s and your body doesn't cope with an all nighter of partying the same way, your body doesn't react well to a certain lifestyle you chose (ie drugs, drinking, smoking, etc) and in your late 20s, where i'm entering right now, it's when your body starts giving you small signs that life isn't helping you anymore and you need to take action. I always tell something along these lines so they can preemptively prepare themselves to what's to come. All of the video tips are good, even though in reality we can't do all of these 100% of the time. But you're not a failure if you can't, as long as in a course of a year it's something that's common for you to do.
If there is anything I have learned, it’s the power of a to do list. To do lists are OP. To do lists helped pull me out of depression. Having a list you put together beforehand or each day and sticking to it really boosts productivity, and when you look down and see every item checked off at the end of the day it gives an unbeatable sense of satisfaction.
I just want to share this strategy that has been working for me for years: Have a level-headed imaginary friend. It is pretty much same as "your inner voice" but I give mine more of a personality. Whenever I go though hard times or have to make a difficult decision, I imagine a conversation between me and this friend, and her point of view is always more mature and logical. By doing it this way, I can both acknowledge my own feelings (not dismissing them) and also broaden my perspective and think logically at the same time. You can also argue that "why not have a real person to do this", but other people can't understand your struggles better than yourself. This imaginary friend would know you best and give you great advice that's for your own good.
“Keep moving forward” is the phrase I use the most, followed by “it could always be worse”, and “we all make choices”. I can’t be bogged down with what ifs so I do my best to learn from mistakes but not dwell on them. I probably practice about 90% of your list regularly, and since I’m a few years shy of 40, I guess I’m right in step. 😂. Great vid.
Thank you Mr. Mike, your advice made me realize something, at 22, I know things that I wanna do and been working towards the goal but "it could always be worse", I might be just lost with no direction and lose myself but I'm not and second thing, "keep moving forward", it's been bad these past few days but I'll keep moving forward, focus on process and not think about the result.
The thing I hate the most is people saying "i'm good as is" whilst working minimum wage jobs, living paycheck to paycheck without any plans. It really grinds my gears, because in conversation they're not happy or satisfied with their lives, but they just don't want to put in the work to actually figure out what to do
Excellent list. I'm 58 and found many things I should be doing. No one is ever too old to learn.

Hahahahaahahahha i love that there was no intro anymore! So refreshing❤❤❤❤❤
I am talking to Github copilot. It is so much better than any inner voice.
Do women really live in fairy tale land…
I guess I'm in trouble.. watching this video on my phone in my bedroom while drinking a cappuccino 😅
I watched this on my smartphone in my bedroom 😅
Guess making the bedroom a no-phone zone is one habit I can definitely try to work on!
i read your comment about the no phone in the bedroom as he mentioned it. oh, i was also laying in bed and watching on my smartphone
