42 years later, and still sounding great. This one, and On The Loose are two of my favorite songs of all time.
Michael still sounds this good! I am inspired by these vocals the same way as hearing the album when I was 20 years old. Guitar is just so good - thanks guys - REALLY.
OMG 42 years later he sounds great!
They still have it after all those years! Amazing live band!
I still remember buying my first Saga vinyl in my college town record shop. I was hooked ever since. Michael’s vocals are still off the charts!
I have four or five vinyl albums left from back in the day. Worlds Apart is one of them. Was amazing, then it's amazing now.
I saw them live in a small club in London, Ontario about 40 years ago. I was there with a friend, who had a friend in a local band, who in turn was friends with some members of Saga. Between sets, the band sat with us. Great guys, very easy to talk to and no "I'm a big star" attitude. I've been a fan since their very first album and played many of their songs on the radio during my time as a DJ at various stations.
Saw them open for Billy Squire at U.C. Davis Freeborn Hall in 85' Awesome!!
Well I'll trade you your small club in London, Ontario and raise you with my small club story also in London, Ontario about 15 years ago now! My best friend of 60 years who has since sadly passed called me up one day and said you've got to come with me to this bar in the East End which is no longer there and sorry I can't remember the name and see this great band that he had seen the night before! He wouldn't tell me the band's name! So I went of course and it was none other than John Till from Stratford and as you would know was Janis Joplin's lead guitarist after Big Brother and the Holding Company in the Full Tilt Boogie band and he played at Woodstock with her and on the Pearl album! John's son played bass and I can't remember the drummer's name but he was also world class. Well to sit no more than 15 away with only about 50 other people in the bar was a real treat and of course he dazzled the small crowd with his guitar playing abilities and blew us all away! A great night was had by all and sadly now John has passed away too! All this for a measly $10 cover charge!
This was a gem of the 80s I had forgotten. Thanks for posting.
Einfach genial 👌
How the hell does Michael still sound this good?!? He's the same age as my dad ffs. 😂
Singing isn't just a question of age! 😁
No smoking no drinking, same as Rob Halford has a concoction he drinks with his tea.
Guess Ian Crichton is one of the most underrated guitarists out there and Michael Sadler still kicks a...
I hardly recognized Michael. He looks completely different. But his voice is great as usual!
Still so fantastic.
OMG I live in Colorado just depressed about how I miss SAGA and then I found this, wow@!!!!thank you so much, I'm so happy watching this!!!!
The album's World apart and heads or tales are just awesome. A sound so different and so GOOD!!!!!!!!
Magnifique merci 🎉🎉🎉
So awesome, I love watching 80s music videos and live performances. I yearn to go back in time and live through the 80s.
Mind you, this is a LIVE performance just a month ago. 2023 ! ;)
Best time of my life. Would love to do it all over again!
Come with me, I’ve been there before, I can show you the way…..
I love SAGA!!!!!
Ich habe sie in Nürnberg gesehen. 👍 😊
Danke für die tollen Aufnahmen!
Saw Saga in Kitchener Ontario Canada with April Wine NYE 1993-94 at Lulu's bar good times.
Keep on rockin' !!😎🤩
SAGA ulales kane ilakes !!!
40'Y memories 🇮🇩 Malang
genial👍
love these guys! Michael sounds amazing!
They still sound like they did when I was 16.....so great
nice to know they are still performing

Saw Saga open for Gary Numan, Telekon Tour in Toronto. Germany has always embraced this band.
A dj friend of mine played them in a pub, the three fishes in Kingston in late 70,s on Hiwatt 400 amps 4 4x12 Hiwatt speakers, Great Music!!!!
Awesome song and great band. Happy to hear that you’re still going.
Saga, worlds apart. What a great cd a d underrated band, great MTV band.
Sound Great !
They Put Out Some Really Good Music 🎶🎵
They still sound awesome
Wow, I saw Saga at the very first Rock Am Ring in 1985. Was just getting ready to PCS back to the States. It was my last big blowout in Germany. Crazy how 40 years has passed. They still sound great. Those were great days bros!!!
Great performance!
Hammer 😎😍
Love it
Still killing it after the passing decades !!!###
I Saw them last month in Jutland 🇩🇰. Incredible show!!!
MY FAVORITE BAND
THANKS TO MY BROTHER JEAN-FRANÇOIS WHO SHARED HIS PASSION FOR MUSIC WITH ME VERY YOUNG
🎸🙏☀️💓💖⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🎸
Omg you guys have not missed a beat sound as fantastic as ever
Great tune sounds 👍 great
Timeless
Back when I was looking at iPod I went on iTunes to look at what bands they had and This was the first band I look to see if they had their music. Great band
holy smoke, what a voice!
beautifull song .....
What!!!! Saga? Come to Puerto rico, please!!!
I REALLY hope to see these guys live somehow, some day!
Thank you for all the Macintosh you have created ❤️
Wow, Michael still sounds good!
New Years Eve 1979...Toronto Maple Leaf Gardens opening for Max Webster...start of a 40 year love affair...
April.... in Toledo. Bet it was a great show!
Yep Rush was busy making permanent waves at the time so no new years shows for them at the gardens. I went to see max new years the next year with bb Gabor and Goddo. Great times!
Him still hitting those notes very impressive
wie sacht man?! MEGA!
Good album, loved Ernie Bilko, some awesome guitar work on that album, very interesting music.
I saw them at the Heads or Tails Tour. Support act was Chris Rea...
Dd :0)

Best band EVER!!!
Uh, are you guys kidding? There were mistakes here. I love this song and know it well. I’m also a musician. At 2:16, 2:24, 2:27, 2:30. Mostly guitar issues. At 2:52 for the next few seconds. I know I’m not the only guitarist here that hears this. Others too. You guys know mega-fans will pounce on you like they’re going to do to me now.🥺😩😰…….😂Chill guys, he/they get back on track after that. There’s a live version of this song, back in the day, where the guitar got recorded, much higher than the rest of the band, and it was excellent. For a guitar player you couldn’t ask for more than to have it that clear and standing out like that.
So I'm guessing your band plays flawlessly??😂
@@9_nein_9 No longer in a band and when I was we didn’t play flawlessly. First, I’m comparing this to the millions of flawless or near flawless live performances you can view on RUclips by many bands. Second, this very same guitarist and band have played this song flawlessly before. And third, I’m not complaining about one or more of the guys having an off-night. I have seen flawless bands screw up before. A couple of the guys may have gotten up to play while drunk or ill. My post was about how being a fan-boy sounds insincere as they’re praising this performance as if it were one of their top-notch performances.
I now have arthritis in my finger joints and am not playing like I used to. Even that could be happening to the guitarist. Keith Emerson had to stop playing keyboards at the level he once could after his wrists went south. Give praise to this band that deserves it but be genuine in your opinion of this show.
First of all, he's 40 years older than he used to be, and he's playing live. Bands rarely play to the album perfect when they are playing live.
Another Canadian legend
Incredible they haven't change much
Dieser Song in meinem Dodge Challenger Black- Hellcat auf der A1 Richtung - Palm Springs Trier😎,volles Rohr ohne KM/H Beschränkung. Grüsse an Alle !!
Respect: Michael Sadler born 1954
I would pay $150 to see them! Fantasic!!
I had to pay 27,- DM for the Concert in Cologne at the 15.10.1983 ....
@@bertvennemann189 lucky you! I bet they were phenomenal!
@@bobbyw1510 🙏 They were 👌excellent fantastic 👏
wow why did they stop if its to sound this good. glad they are back for a couple of shows. ian crichton is something, so is micheal, they still have it perfectly
Where has Michael's hair go? 😂 It all went into his beard....🤔😂😂
Michael looks like a brother of Graham McTavish,
who played Dougal MacKenzie in the TV Series " Outlander" ! 😉
Slightly slower tempo
Lacking some urgency
But sounds good
Saw them in Toronto maybe 37 yrs ago .
Wie viele waren im Publikum,?
Was ist die Tonqualität miserabel!
Original drummer was amazing, with a more electric based drum set . Roland was quite new at the time , I prefer that sound better .
No brexit . German britisch friendship
Where's Jim Crichton?
He's enjoying what we in Germany call "Rente" since a few years.
Dd :0)
Jim is tired of touring, more busy with studiowork.
A little bit messi in the solopart but after all still Close to heyday Performance
Does Sadler's skinny jeans give him the punch to frolic about?
Michael is great as 20y ago, the guitar plays the original, but the mixing is bad and not comparable with 20y ago.
No bass player? Instead bass synth?
Too much keyboards. Not enough guitars
Two original members?...Yikes.
No Three! Jim Gilmour on keyboards 😉 (no one can forget Michael Sadler and
Ian Crichton 😁)
