6 minutes into the interview, and I had a feeling I'm not getting what Peter is trying to get across, then I realized Charlie keeps interrupting him. Then I scroll down and read the comments; I'm glad I am not the only one.
I don't watch Charlie Rose interviews because I want to hear what the expert that is being "interviewed " actually can tell us without being interrupted...

I have read Peter Lynch's book One Up on Wall Street. It helped me make money in the stock market. He is definitely a great fund manager. Very humble and willing to tell you the truth on investing. Charlie Rose should have shut up long time ago. All the best to Peter Lynch.
So far, in the past month I have read books by or on; graham, Lynch, Buffett, munger, town, marks, taleb, greenblatt, Malkiel and Fisher... Peter Lynch is my favorite!
@@victorleon1563 I just finished this book; The Warren Buffett Way, a book by author Robert Hagstrom, which outlines the business and investment principles of value investing practiced by American businessman and investor Warren Buffett. Such a great interview. I understand that this is a laid-back setting, but I wish Charlie rose wouldn't interrupt and finish sentences for his guests like that. Great chat with a great guest, nonetheless
It's bad practice to interrupt to interviewee while they are answering a question. People generally watch interviews to hear the guest speak and cutting them off really hurts the flow of conversation as well.
People commenting that Charlie is interrupting.... This is a conversation, not an interview or an interrogation. Conversations have a natural ebb and flow that allow for an organic direction. It is simply a conversation that we get to listen in on.... If Peter didn't like something he wouldn't have come back multiple times. If you want a pure Q&A then read a printed interview or with Peter, you can listen to his audio books. On another note, my mom bought into Fidelity Magelleon and did really well. It was a great fund... but after Peter retired I told her to get out... she refused to listen and gave back almost all her earnings. When the Chef leaves the kitchen the recipe changes!
Eight years later and what consequences have we faced due to poor education? Is the problem getting better or worse? How important is literacy and math competency compared to systemic racism in keeping people out of jail?
Peter Lynch saying that he felt bad for the average people whose money in stocks went down is proof he is a dedicated fund manager. Most fund managers won't have genuine care about their clients finances, & just focus on getting more clients.
Please don't talk out of your ass. It just looks bad. If you're going to make a claim back it up with a lot of data sets pointing to find managers not caring about their clients.

beyond frustrating his constant talking over Peter Lynch not even letting him talk...no one watches to hear from you charlie rose. Im here to hear what Peter has to say
When the host is trying to show off his own ideas and knowledge, the interview is doomed to be annoying. Clearly, Charlie was trying to overrun Peter, and steering the interview in random directions. Not many people were interested in your idea and thoughts, Charlie! A good host's main task is to bring the best out of your guest, especially a world expert like Peter. In Charlie's interview with Ray Dalio, due to too many interruptions, Dailo madly and frustratedly shouted to Charlie something like "Shut up, Listen!" The problem is that Charlie thinks too highly of himself. It became a true ego problem. Good job, Charlie! Peter did not explain any ideas fully during your whole interview.

Charlie might as well interview himself damn can we listen to peter
Charlie Rose is pretty annoying, here: irrespective of whether you are enthusiastic, you don't persistently cut in to your guest's talking.
Agreed. Hated how he kept interrupting. Let Lynch finish a sentence for God’s sakes...
That's Charlie Rose in any interview. He sucks lol
I liked when he cut off Peter Lynch to tell him that he knows how important listening is.
i've watched old video with Charlie and Peter, Charlie never change he is annoying guy
I love when i see he's owned by putin in an interview
Charlie- I do that all the time. I'm also an expert as well. I love saying yeah yeah, right right the whole time you speak.
Peter Lynch is a legend .
His wife passed away a couple years after this interview 😥
the ending is gold pure...
Wish this video had more Peter Lynch talking and less Charlie Rose talking
The interviewer keeps interrupting Peter. It started getting to my nerve

Too bad , Lynch always ends up with a bad interviewer.
Thank you

Peter mentions his wife over and over again. It’s obvious he adores Carolyn. Little did he know then that in 2yrs he would lose her to leukemia.
Never thought I'd ever hear Peter Lynch mention Khan Academy

Charlie clearly doesn't remember Peter telling him the Wallmart story in 1993.
