I dropped my nokia 6 accidentaly to lake, phone died but after 2 days it came back to life and now it works fine!

Oh yes! The review of the tank is now here! This is what I'm waiting for! Now i'm decided to choose this as my new phone! I'm not really onto the camera so it's not a big deal for me if it's not the best. Time to upgrade my phone to a tank!

Lol the lumia 520 was much more of a tank than the 6 or 6.1 the raised glass makes the screen completely vulnerable to drops. I don't work on carpet. Both my 6 and 6.1 need new screens. I saw the renderings for the 6.2 looks like the glass is finally not raised above the casing. Or probably, it's just how the renderer thought it should be designed.
Oh yeah. Pie update on the 6.1 caused hotspot to not function, so that device is worthless.

So happy of this purchase in 2018 'coz it still gets updated and works quite nicely in 2021.
im still watching on mine! They stuck to the promise of updates until Android 10 and security patches for 3 years. It's great.

i am using nokia 6.1 from last 3 months amazing complete pack device no any hanging issue good camera good battery backup good sound quality good in durability and style....best phone in low price range...NOKIA IS BACK
Been using this phone for about a year now and it's been great. There was one time the phone suddenly refused to boot though, after upgrading to Android 10 and doing a factory reset (boot failure happened about 2 weeks after the upgrade), so I had to do another factory reset and losing my photos and everything in internal storage. Camera is ok but many photos come out blurry due to bad focus, even if there's plenty of light. It's pretty sturdy though; I threw it hard on a wooden floor in a fit of anger one time and it only had a small outward dent, probably from something inside hitting the metal chassis. It's wrapped in a silicone case (which I had to buy separately) and that probably helped a lot in keeping it alive.

Was blessed to upgrade to this phone from last year's 6. At first the speaker tradeoff was a put off, but the 6.1 is louder. It really is a substantial upgrade performance wise over the original 6. Much smoother and faster over all. The Nokia 6 2017 was a good phone for their first midrange but the 6.1 really is worth the upgrade.
Great Review. HMD is bringing back Nokia from the grave. It was a bad choice to go to Microsoft... I actually plan to buy a 6.1 soon so this review helps. Also the 6.1 now runs Android 9 Pie.

Can you use the micro-SD Card as the primary storage of apps in this phone? Or is this feature already out of trend given the impact it has on the expanded storage medium itself? Coming from a Xiaomi phone, I kind of missed this feature a lot back when I was using a different phone from a different brand.

Where are location wise? This looks like Europe (from the balcony), and certain details makes me think it could be Poland, but why would you be in Poland? So where are you? I mean I don't care about you in particular I curious about that place you shoot video from the balcony.
what is the city you shoot these photos in?
Is it me or does the 4K footage doesn't get any sort of stabilization while 1080p gets some sort of digital stabilizer? Unless you just used tripod for the 1080p footage because 4K is shaky as hell.
The 600 series of chipset don't support stabilization at 4k.

Review Nokia 6.1 plus. I’ve waiting forever
I've been using my 6.1 and if there are a couple of things I don't like about it, it's how the camera isn't very good at focusing and it's not uncommon for images to come out a bit blurry (or downright useless-level blurry) and the 3000mAh battery isn't enough to get me through the day. I found that I need to charge an extra 30% or so to get me through the day. I came from a phone with a 5,000mAh battery and I usually get over a day out of it, sometimes two days with heavy use. I just feel like the 3000nAh on the 6.1 delivers less than 60% the juice of my previous phone.
For anyone considering this phone, I just bought it yesterday--it was less than $200 at Best Buy. It's now running Android Pie and the camera issues have improved dramatically.

I have got Nokia 6.1, I couldn't aceess to operating system. Immediately after selecting the language I connect to the WiFi the it shows checking for updates.
Then no progress

Yes, and in fact you can hold with greater security. Also because the sides are flat, you can have it standing on its sides.

Nokia dealing with Windows is the biggest mistake ever made..
Because of Windows they made a name for themselves in the camera department... That's why every review of a nokia phone these days will have that high expectations... Back then, even a cheap Lumia can take photos on par with an Iphone.
I think Windows Phone is a great OS or well...it was. But then a lot of the app developers pulled their products from the store or delayed their release until it made no sense to actually release and support Windows apps and the OS was left to die.
Was a window phone user all my life until last year June. Had a hand-me down Lumia 625 then bought a Lumia 640 at 2016. Only good thing i got going for is extreme personalisation. The home screen is sooooo beautiful if you have a good background and transparent app icons. But other than that, the OS just has too many annoyances and bugs.
Phone is built like a brick tho. Removable battery as well, but its chipset is such a letdown.
Ah well, whatever. I may consider another windows phone if the two major issue i have with them is addressed,
i.e 1) Software bugs 2)Better chipset
