I like how the ending twist is being constantly mixed up. Usually one of the 2 main characters is sus of the other at the end because of perceived sexual interest. But this time it was 2 other characters who appear to have been watching the interaction in secret. Could it be that SpongeBob and Squidward have become sus of Patrick and Mr Krabs and are spying on them? If so what are their plans and intentions from here? This episode perfectly sets up a storyline for them as they investigate the sussyness that is at hand. Perfect storytelling and enthralling cliffhanger.
