Yes...they are gone. Not dead, just dipped. On the Twitter account, a good few months ago, Sim said that they didn’t make a lot of money off of RUclips, and that they weren’t enjoying themselves anymore.
It can be assumed, unfortunately, that Sim may never come back.
Random update 3-11/2021;
No Twitter posts by Sim in months. We may assume they are gone for good.
So have they stopped making music in general or just have quit RUclips? Either way it is sad. I could say that there was no song from sim that I had not had fun listening, but I suppose that all good things must come to an end. I so think that this is the end too since I would not force myself to do something I did not have fun doing either.
He also apparently graduated from university and got a job that is keeping him busy.

@@mianoxide1199 Late reply, but I can confirm that the second account you linked is real - i've been following him since his early days on youtube, and that soundcloud used to be his account before he moved to his new one.
sim has been a big influence on who i am as a person, It's a shame that they're gone now,, but not much we can do now. Thanks for informing us.

Sim, if you're reading this, I know you no longer want to make music anymore, and that's okay. I understand.
Just know that you've made the lives of over three hundred thousand people like myself better.
I hope your life is good, and that you are in good health. As far as I am aware, no one online has heard from you under the name Sim Gretina for two and a half years.

It's quite bitter sweet that my favorite track from Sim is their last. I guess all good things has an end, no matter how good or how awful something may be. It will eventually end. And all I can say is thank you for bringing us these songs of joy and I'll continue to cherish these tracks for the rest of my life. But we'll eventually find a successor and it may fill the emptiness we feel, it'll take long but it'll soon come. Probably.

Well, I've never really commented on any of Sim's videos, but I will now. It breaks my heart to hear what's been going on with Sim.
As a note to them, bless you for giving me such music. My mother and I would listen to them every single morning on our way to coffee shops or errands. This music brought me through the rough times in my life and even suicidal times.
