Tbh I’m not sure on the sole I just bought them a few months ago!!! They are a chunky sole 1.5 inches so it doesn’t really look like they’ll be bendable.
update: I got them about a week after I posted this comment (I subscribed to the restock mailing list). I love them so much but since they don’t come in half sizes mine are a bit too large and slip out a little whenever I take a step. I’m also going to emphasize not to wear these for long periods of time since they do start to hurt your feet A LOT.
@@daagbadamarisseember9284 Those are the 8053, not 1461. You can tell by the heel part touching the ankles which has padding on it. The 1461s dont have padding at the heel.
Thanks so much! I just tried them on a Nordstrom Rack where they’re on sale for $79! Sadly, I’m too wimpy for the break in, & couldn’t tolerate the hardness for more than 30 secs. Bummed as they’d be the perfect wardrobe staple. Just ordered the Bex Mary Janes & shall see.

i like this video! but i have a question: aren’t they really stiff when you walk? are you able to properly bend the sole since it’s so thick?
Yes they are stiff at first. That’s why wearing them at least a hr at a time in a day would help break them in.

Whilst breaking in Docs, wear the Doc Socks. Doc Socks are double layered and really cut down on blisters

They do take getting used to and feel a bit heavy at first but they aren’t bad once you get used to them.

I have the original boots on a size 7 but people say to size down since they run, do they actually run big???
I went with the same boot size 6 I had. I also read mixed reviews on sizing down too, but I went with my size which is a 6.
