- This is an Idaho dirt bike ride above the city of boise, which is the capital. You can see the city in the background as we ride the mountains above. Amazing views, amazing Beta motorcycles, and amazing riding conditions. It made for a great day of motorcycle riding!

I know I already mentioned it, but that drone follow footage is unbelievably cool!!! I could see it as a very useful tool for seeing what your suspension is doing and tuning it accordingly as well.
Thanks! The suspension comment is exactly how i refined my suspension. I already knew what it was doing, but to see it happening made it so much easier to make adjustments. Now the suspension is working amazing.
good flowing trails. looks like a fun chill ride.
It was! These trails are designed to accommodate many skill levels. There are a couple tough sections if you are a beginner, but mostly smooth sailing.
Just bought a place in SE Boise - gotta get the bikes up there this spring!
Both the trails and the drone footage are awesome, period! (wasn't able to spot the Broncos stadium though :D )
Glad you enjoyed! I appreciated the compliment, and the time you took to stop buy and comment. Things are always harder to spot on video, but when you ride this area you can definitely see just about all of Boise. It's an awesome view!
Looks like the woods are opening!!!! Single track time!!
Yeah buddy! Lets go!
Glad to see another beta video. Your video on the bike was my final deciding factor on my purchase of my 2021 500. Thanks. Last weekend I was t boned by a 300lb plus hog in the appalachia national forest on my tiger 800 and ended up side down in a water filled ditch. Yea It was great! 7 mile walk out of the woods to get help lifting it, really wishing I was on the beta lol. Now beta only off road!! Btw as usual all your videos are great.
I'm glad I could help! The Beta is my most requested bike, for sure. I have a lot of people asking about it. I have only had the throttle body issue with it, which is super annoying, but besides that its been amazing! I appreciate the kind words on my videos! Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to comment.
Great content!
IMO,,More multi-use trails into the back country’s of America are needed To relieve congestion. Also
They promote a healthy lifestyle, educate the public and create more advocacy to conserving our public lands.
Thanks!!
I appreciate that! Yeah, a trail never hurt anyone. Bikes are so quiet now that we don't hurt anyone either, even in a populated area.
Nice countryside. Great views!
Yeah, Idaho is pretty cool! Thanks for commenting!
I love the drone footage, great surrounding views but also shows your riding technique which is really good. I can tell most of the time you are in cruise mode, but I can also tell when someone has good technique or not... I've seen when you're riding hard and you have great riding style and handle the bike really well. Great footage, great job! As for the housing market and freedom, yes Boise is beyond amazing without a doubt. But the housing market is crazy everywhere. I have homes in North Scottsdale Carefree AZ and San Diego, Calf. The markets in both places are probably the craziest out of any housing market or at least top 5 areas in the entire country. The price of my homes have gone beyond double what I paid in 2016. As for freedom, in AZ we have riding all over the place and you can go just about anywhere and ride. I ride on the street to get to trails a lot of the time, go right past cops and they wave hi to me. We also have open areas all over for riding. And last, believe it or not, California has more riding and more riders, than you can ever imagine. Yes, Calf. is crazy with laws and rules there is no defending that one. But when it comes to riding, no one bothers you and there are some of the best riding trails in the entire country, there are also the absolute best MX tracks in Calf. I'm only bringing that up because it sounded like you need to get out more and see what's offering before saying the rest of the country is not free. Anyway, love your vids man.
I really like that part of Arizona. I wouldnt mind being snowbird one day. I appreciate the comment! The drone has been giving me some really cool shots!
Great video. I use to live in Kuna but never road 8th Street.
I noticed a few times with you drone that some blue pixels would appear on the right side of the screen.
Incase you didn't notice.
Keep the videos coming.
Those are the drones props. In severe wind they can enter the field of view. Thanks for commenting! Should be some good riding this year!
We saw you! I was taking a couple of new riders out. We were stopped at the top of 4 where it intersects with the ridge road connector. I was also on the dual sport. Ktm 450 xcw. It's a blast riding a street legal dirt bike!
Nice! I just finished up riding through some serious snow trying to get over to the creek, but decided to back track to trail 4 eventually. In a couple weeks the snow should be melted enough to get back in there. I was shocked at how many Karens bought property up in there and posted no trespassing signs all over.
@@RacerRed I agree. It's so sad to see all of these trails that we have ridden all of our lives be shut down. Everyone is riding humpty anyway. Lol. I like to watch the bald spot on eagleson summit from the valley. As soon as ALL of the snow is off of it everything is doable. I look forward to tour videos. Thanks for all of the great content. I'll see you on the trail. My other bike is a 2018 husky 300tx. Take care. Stay healthy.
enjoy it while you can I was out in the owyhees this weekend came up on a locked gate that has been open all my life. the old rancher sold it to a new kind of Idahoan .
Yeah, I have noticed a ton of private property signs all over up in there. People move here and ruin things for us. There are even trails on the back side of the mountain that are no blocked with signs. Definitely a new kind of Idahoan living up there.
I love the video and I love trail 4. On the backside you have to do a little bushwacking to get there but there's a fun trail around Karney Creek. The only downside of you showing these cool videos is that you're luring more people to the area, and therefore increasing housing prices even more, lol
Yeah, for sure! I am definitely luring more people this direction. Maybe i will start labeling everything "Ohio" and see what happens.
I need to hurry up and get my bike. So I can head over to Idaho and ride.
Lots of good riding to be done here!
Hey RR, love the Skydio vlog format. Are you using a Rode wireless go microphone in your helmet, with audio being captured from you skydio app? Or are you merging a separate audio stream?
Housing market is hot here in Australia too. Very much overcooked, but investors keep piling on. Crash is incoming, but I won't predict when ....
Love the look of Idaho trail riding. I hope you guys can keep them open into the future.
Peace out. 🤙🏍🙏
I use a separate mic, and audio setup from the skydio. I sync them up in post-production.
I agree about the crash, and i think that one of the reasons is that baby boomers are reaching retirement. A whole lot of stocks are about to be sold off to be used as income.
Thanks for commenting!
Tacomoto.com sales an all in one just tail light and a full new tail for KTM but 12v is 12v so I'm sure you could make it work, they also sale front turn signals that wrap around the fork.
I already have some flush mount signals ready for install when my stock ones decide to fall off. I will have to check out those ones you mentioned!
The 2 trails out there we can ride on are 4 and 6. Im about 99% sure the one you stopped at and said, I dont think this is motorized, is trail 6. On the hill climb, I believe at some point it had a closed sign coming from the top but not the bottom? Who knows now. On those 2 trails, watch out for mountain bikers and peds. They'll be everywhere soon.
We ended up looping around on trail 6 on the way back. I am shocked at how many people choose to hike on motorized us trails when there are a multitude of hiking options in this area that are not motorized. Some people were hiking trail 6 with their dog, and they looked really annoyed.
I have the 2017 model. Struggle with the that same or similar throttle issue. It's random, unpredictable. If you come up with the fix do you mind posting a video on it?
Great vid here! Always dig your posts.
I just fixed mine. It’s a design flaw from the factory. The throttle mechanism runs against the outside cover. Check out my Instagram for details. I ground off some material from the outer cover to fix it.
@@RacerRed Big thanks!! Will check it out on IG!
Because yours is a 2017, it might be the recalled one. They had a recalled throttle body in 17, & 18.
@@RacerRed Thanks!..I'll reach out to my dealer and double check...Will report back.
Do you run tubes in your dual-sport? Whether it's housing or stocks; the bubble will pop.
I just run the regular tubes. I would love to run bibs but apparently they melt if you run them in street bikes. I agree about the economy. The stocks market has already taken a big hit, but i think the housing market is next.
Sadly, I think the housing market is going to come back down, hard. We sold our house last year here in Havasu, it took a day, we thought it would take 6 months, a day, that is nuts. So many Californians have moved over to our state, and the guy who bought it is super nice as well as, lets just say not a fan of the situation in Cali. I'm not sure how long it will last as eventually the people who are in Cali and want to leave will not be able to sell or that market dries up. When that happens, it just skids to a halt, and this feels just like when we were thinking about selling in 2006 and decided not to, then didn't have equity in our house till 2015, seriously. I feel quite bad for a lot of people buying now, I predict a very hard foreclosure season ahead.
I just went to Zillow and looked up Boise and I had no idea it exploded that much, I was up there two years ago buying a truck camper and looked at a couple houses for 200k$, whew that climb is nuts.
The Boise market is the most ridiculous in the states, right now. It's either #1 or #2 in price increase. I think it will bomb back down to a really low price soon, as well. I would sell my house but i really like where i live and i own it outright, so i wouldn't move unless i could own the next one without payments. I have considered selling, renting until the crash, and buying a bigger house.
Is this trail currently closed?
I think it’s still open
