  • Every year during the first weekend in June the Boise Ridge Riders motorcycle club hosts a time keeping enduro in the small town of Idaho City. Ever since I was a little kid my family has made the trip. We look forward to visiting this little town every year and reminiscing about past experiences. This year mother nature favored us with a weekend to remember. With absolutely perfect dirt and 70 degree temperatures we were all anxious to ride. We enjoyed 200 miles of the greatest trails on earth in as good of conditions as we have ever seen. Tag along with my family and I as we add another Idaho City experience to the books.

Well, congrats on the win, and it's great you enjoy it so much too!
Beautifully done video, respect for the effort involved, and grateful for your representing my IDC backyard so well.
It's great fun to see those familiar trails ridden at Mach III, and the faces of all the usual suspects in BRRMC.
Lastly, the collective OCD of the faithful that keeps this event going year after year must be recognized as a force of nature to behold.
    See you next year!

Nice video. Really enjoyed it. That's not really what us old timers consider a time keeping enduro though. Lol. That is definitely some awesome looking trails! Congratulations on your win!

Great video man! I’m going to try this race in the next few years. Do you have any recommendations for training?

Thank you! The Idaho City 100 is our all time favorite motorcycle race! We refer to it as Christmas in our family! Idaho City is an Enduro format. If you have never raced an Enduro there are some unique aspects to practice. For fitness I would recommend preparing similarly to other races. Focus on getting in shape by riding as frequently as possible, do lot's of cardio to keep your lungs strong (I like to run, row, or use the stationary bike). Circuit training (Crossfit workouts) are a great way to build strength. For the Enduro preparation it really takes at least one year competing in the event to truly figure it out. However I would recommend riding as much single track or mountain trails as possible, as this race is nearly 100% mountain single track. I would also recommend doing at least one or two really long trail rides before to prepare for the long days. Idaho City is usually around 7+ hours of racing. We have a lot of experience at this race and would love to share more! Check out our full course coming soon at Ridewiththeknights.com We will be teaching all our racing tips and we will have a specific video teaching the Enduro format. Thanks

Ride With The Knights sounds like it’s pretty intense! I’ll have to hit it really hard for the next few months. Thanks for replying!
