Gruened , yes!!… and they usually go FULL punch on the starter box to “warm them up”!!! Definitely distracting!!
      Thank you!!!

@@noprorc9365 good tips. But all honesty, I never really understood the rationale behind some electric racers having issues with nitro racers warming up during their race. How is it so distracting. Nitro racers are able to race completely fine with roaring nitro engines all around them. I just never understood why the sound of a revving nitro engine during a electric race is so alarming and distracting. Especially considering there are other factors that contribute to noise during any race, like running generators, air compressors, car stereos, folk chatting, etc. I race both electric and nitro.. and I can say I never really been distracted by a nitro engine. Why must it be complete silence for an electric race.. I really think it's more of a pet peeve for some guys. We all know you have some electric guys who completely despises nitro and anything about it. I really wonder if that's the real reason.. which is pretty petty if you ask me. But to each their own.. just my humble opinion.

Boat RC, I can definitely understand your point, and as a nitro racer for 17 years it does not bother me personally. Which is probably why I didn’t think to mention it in the video..(Well it does when the guy is goin full wood on the starter box!! LOL) ….
But I can also see where guys would rather them wait til the heat is over..
I hate to play both sides of the field here but I can definitely see it from both angles….. but I 100% agree with what your saying.

@@noprorc9365 definately falls under the pet peeve category like your stating, im just too easily distracted by loud noises, and we cant all go through life worrying about everyone else's feelings all the time we would make ourself miserable. Don't get me wrong if nitro heat/main is next, by all means people should warm their car up and make sure it is mechanically ready to go, and if your trying to dial your tune in more absolutely necessary. if nitro was the only class i think it wouldnt be an issue, like the world championship, the only event that seems to rank how good of a driver you are world wide, so there for, basically the only tool of measure that matters when competing with fellow racers. For me when I drive an rc car, not thinking about the slow marshal, especially when i go out of town, and out of my comfort zone, i am paying attention to all the sounds of my environment, temperature, wind, aggressive drivers on the track, slow marshals, lean or fat, oversteer or understeer and on and on. most likely ill be in the next race with my nitro car so im gonna come off the stand and probably warm my car up and we'll start together anyways, unless your at a special event in witch case your going to require pit help anyways. But for the average joe trying to club race, its hard enough in our area to even get a main going, even less getting marshals to marshal said main, and to find people to release your nitro car and fill it up if you run more than a 7minute main.

the major difference is you typically go from being able to hear the ebuggys going around the track, to when you start your nitro car up underneath the driver stand, thats the ONLY thing you can hear now. so the person that started the car took the drivers ability away from being able to hear the ebuggy race.. however you want to look at it, that is the facts

Your thoughts.. driver breaks. Should the driver wait on the stand til the race is over? I personally broke I waited for the race was over and got off the stand with rest of the guys

@@noprorc9365 hey I went to my first race ever last weekend and my battery died with 20 seconds left in the race and I walked off before it ended, may I ask why I should’ve waited for the race to end? Thanks in advance

    • @noprorc9365

Hey Brandon!!, honestly it’s more of a courtesy thing just so there is no distraction to the other drivers … but I don’t think it’s a huge deal unless you stomp off the stand then walk out on the track to retrieve your car while the race is still in progress, that’s when it becomes a bit of an issue.
But I don’t think anybody cares much if you walk off quietly then wait til the race is over to retrieve your car…. BUT in that case you may as well stay on the stand and watch the rest of the show.
      Thank you!!
