I have got to see all three steam locomotives that pulled the American Freedom Train back between 1975 and 1976. All at there current locations.

While living at San Antonio, Texas in February 1976, my grandparents, my two uncles and my dad did saw the 4449 with AFT. They have pictures of their visit to see this train.
Glad i got see the 4449 in 2009 for Train Festival at Owosso, Michigan.

Bit of a shame most of the consist of the AFT didn't survive once the tour had concluded in the US and Canada.

Only the three locomotives, the sleeper, and the last 4 cars survive. The tool baggage car was cut up for scrap in 2023.
