Congratulations Jed, we chose your ETF Battle suggestion for this episode. Good job! Please send us your shirt size and mailing address or if you want an ETF Battles coffee mug, that works too. www.etfguide.com/contact-us
Thanks Ron for choosing my ETF battle. Both guests made some great points. I knew it would be close. In the current economic environment we're in, I have HDV in my portfolio.
Received my Tshirt Ron. Thank you. Keep up the good work!
would love to see an episode on inverse etf's maybe a more vanilla such as PSQ or SH coupled with some new ones like SARK and HDGE
I'm okay with the judges disagreeing completely as they have their reasons. It all depends on what your objective and point of view is.
This was a close dividend ETF matchup for sure. Could've went either way. But HDV's heavy energy exposure gives it the performance and yield advantage right now. Although both funds have "high dividends" in their name, they are very different beasts as the judges pointed out. Best, Ron
I have vym it's dividends have been ups and down quite a bit just holding it for now maybe in a few years I will buy more shares
Pharma ETFs: XPH, PJP, IHE, PPH.
PPH is actually UP YTD. I don’t own it, but it’s very impressive.
Looks like a solid matchup. Thanks, Ron
SCHD is a good dividend etf
Hello guys here is a unique battle $COWZ vs $DSTL both using quite unique criteria of valuation
Where did you hear about DSTL?
Thanks for the T-shirt. Received last week.
Awesome. Glad you got it. Thanks again for the solid battle suggestions and keep them coming! If we choose your battle again, you win again. Best, Ron
DIVO vs JEPI
They already did a video on jepi vs divo vs nusi.
@@benedit71 Correct. FYI sapanv, please watch our Season 3 (2022) playlist you'll see both JEPI and DIVO in several ETF Battles episodes, here's the link. Best, Ron ruclips.net/p/PL2nQqIxm8RGDupzzM6wi2Km7pUz0aEMPD
I guess buy both??
Depends. VYM if you want broader diversification whereas HDV is more concentrated in the right sectors (energy) for the current moment.
ok, question, do these divvie ETFs actually pay any divvies? Or does it all go to the share price?
Not sure I understand the question MM. Please re-phrase and clarify. Ron
@@etfguide ok. Do these ETFs payout quarterly all of the cash dividends that they receive or is it all reinvested?
@@Derideo Both VYM and HDV pay cash dividends quarterly. They do not re-invest dividends.
@@etfguide Ok, thanks bro!
This was helpful
