I think Knott's did a fantastic job with their festivals and was bummed when they were cancelled. Looking forward to the Boysenberry Festival next month.
I think tickets for the DCA festival will be expensive...$100+ possibly. I really want to go but will have to see what will be offered for what price.
Favorite memories of DCA: 1) Being Surprised by Goofy while I was tying my shoe in the formerly secluded area where Emotional Whirlwind now sits, 2) Meeting Disney Imagineer Perh Hovey, the creator of the Glow with the Show Mickey ears -- for my birthday he gave me two sets of those ears and VIP access to the best spot to view World of Color while wearing those ears, 3) being rejected by Pochontas for trying to hug her after taking a picture with her, 4) Photo Op with Sully, 5) The first times I experienced every attraction that's there past and present, most notably Cars Land and Radiator Springs Racers which has such a breathtaking and spectacular facade. 6) Trying Walt's favorite drink at Carthay Circle and not liking it at all -- thinking his private life during Disneyland's construction must've been hard 7) Visiting the resort with various family, friends and by myself over the years and especially on my Birthday, 8) Going to DCA and Disneyland for business meetings with business partners 9) the first time I tried a mojito at Ariel's Grotto and getting a beverage with glow in the dark Ice Cubes 10) a friend treating me to lunch at Ariel's Grotto only to discover a need to cancel our reservation after noticing the menu had no prices, which was an indicator that it's not a cheap dining experience --- we ended up going to the Italian Restaurant located near Blue Sky.
People seem to be forgetting about the cast members that continue to be affected by this, while Disney's top executives & CEO make sure to award themselves a raise :/
Still waiting for disney to do a "willy wanka" type event with very limited attendance that can only be won through a promotion. It would be epic.
I think 8 tastes I think is too much. Most people wouldn’t use all their tabs Even if they shared with other family or friends. And I think the event will be a limited timed event.
Disney closed right before a food festival was about to start like the one time I went before in January they had the booths up so do you think they will just bring those back
