I'm not sure how much of a purist you are for shiny hunting, but if you're interested in a quicker Giratina, you might want to look at rng manipulation for it. It's something i wanna try in my copy of bdsp for the mythicals and legends and it'll hopefully save you a lot of time!

Another comment after finishing the video: My favourite shiny it's Chandelure and Giratina because I can almost see everything in them. I hope you get the shiny Giratina one day, please don't lose the hope! I know you can do it and the video it's so good! At the final, we learn two things: 1- You're a good multi-tasker (I can barely make 2 things at the same time because of the ADHD) 2- Silly moments can make everyone crack, even if it's just a little bit. I laughed when I saw you shaking the Giratina card and png to the beat of the music.
im 100% sure you will get giratina soon, i started the same hunt on a sunday, and got it a few days later on a thursday, at 726 resets, i belive in you! also that was my second one of those hunts, first was palkia, second was giratina, and then i got rayquaza extremly underodds at 250 resets, and now i just started a 4th hunt for mewtwo, and im at 57 at the time of writing this.
i felt this so much when i did my Spiritomb hunt in BDSP for my playthrough. the resets were killing me. thankfully it showed up at iirc ~700 srs cause i would have lost it if i had to do any more than 1k. i also have a Dracovish hunt on hold atm, i'm over odds (4100) and in pain :')

I love these videos and they are really quality, but can you do a video where you just hunt for shinies you don’t have yet. Cause it feels weird to hunt for shinies we already have. For example we caught trevanant a couple of videos before, so although it’s good to get more shinies, we aren’t making as much progress.
My favorite ghost type is probably Lunala because I love the moon and it’s shiny is beautiful! I’ll be getting the swsh dlc soon because I finally got the game for myself a couple months ago and I’m really excited to hunt for it! :D
fun fact, i got my shiny giratina when the dlc just came out, i whas 8 at the time and just wanted to get all the legendaries because they where cool. and i just at the time heard what shinies where. so i got like 20 legendaries orso and whas trying for giratina, but i couldnt beat him for 3 DAs (i didnt have online at the time). so for the 4th time while having no shiny charm i got a DOUBLE shiny: a shiny obstagoon and the man himself giratina.
It’s a bit of both tbh! Sometimes I think of the perfect nickname immediately, other times I sit on it for quite a while and even ask some people for nickname suggestions
Yeah BDSP I hunted palkia there for like approximately 11k and nothing and now switched targets to darkrai because a one time event that I can’t get again is more deserving of the master ball with over 2000 resets now and I’m convinced this game can’t generate shinies Also something seems to have happened to my max lair no more shinies that I found more in the wild than DA not even phasing
