It looks terrific! I’m so sorry to hear about your bad experience with previous neighbors. That hurts my heart so much! One note, my neighbors also have those string lights in their yard and they let them run 24/7. It can be irritating if they never turn off. Basically forcing your neighbors to have light when they may not want it. A timer would be ‘neighborly’.❤️👍
I just ordered one off Amazon! All our other lights are also on a timer! I totally agree it’s annoying if they are on all night

Robbie great video. Makes me sad that y’all had a problem neighbor. So glad they have moved. We did the cafe lights in our backyard. Hubs didn’t use the wire and our lights are hanging too low! 😆 I will have to show him your video, so he can see how it’s done! Lol
We did them a while ago for the wedding and didn’t use wire, they sagged so much 😂

That’s a great idea of the 2x4s. I would finish the fence and do the 2x4 all the way down the fence line and paint lattice black and put it up to the top of the boards that would give you more privacy and look cool and you could decorate it up. They couldn’t look into your yard and see everything.
I definitely plan to do something to add more privacy, especially since their house it so tall.

You need tall screening plants between your house and the neighbors for privacy.
Will you be leaving them out in the winter? I left mine out last winter and it killed them, was so disappointed they really pretty could change colors, had a remote control so it had a timer on it to

While lights can be pretty, it’s also can be annoying to close neighbors. My back neighbor installed party lights on steroids. I had to increase my fence to 8 ft. Helps immensely. My point is to be mindful of your neighbors.Low light path lights from Hose link are great.
