I like the star because the two matte shades make it easier to do a full look, while just 4 shimmers in the quad is kind of only for one and done looks or has to be paired with another palette. It does have the more convenient and compact packaging though
Yeah definitely all about your preference! With the star I wouldn’t use it on its own really but I know most people with light- medium skin would love!

I know they are different, but this is more my range. I fell in love with the Icy Nude palette because of its color story - I love the icy spin on a nude look. My problem lies with it being an 18-pan. I'll enjoy it, though. Moreover, The Moondust Star Cowboy Palette and Quad is just so perfect! So soft, too. 🩷
