SP also gives 5 Laffey vouchers per clear (and 800 event points). So for this event it’s probably worth clearing the SP map daily. (If only because 5 vouchers would otherwise cost 750 points in the shop, so a clear effectively gives you 1550 event points.)
Stella (Laylaqua) is a capital ship and the biggest ship of the wave, weighing in at around 44k tons Guam is an eccentric team tank, weighing in at 30-34k tons or all 3 Deutschland pocket BBs combined
I think you get around 90 -100 total from the cake minigame event towards Laffey II. At least I think that's what the data leak showed. That takes some pressure off grinding. Even 75 does take a lot of pressure off grinding out at least one Laffey II.
to get both copies of Laffey II, you need about 75k points... so realistically, it's better to get Laffey and the UR gun.. that would take 40k points... if you somehow manage to farm another 45k points before the event ends, then go for another copy of Laffey... in this event, there arent enough time to go for the usual stuff unless you give up Laffey II.
Laffey II and the UR weapon is a must and need. I recommend saving until when the event is about to end because then if you can't get her, yes spend on something you can use down the road, like the UR weapon.
You are correct and wrong. We get 50 UR vouchers from completing certain missions and 75 from Patisserie mini game over the course of the first six days. Also 5 from a random task daily mission. I currently have 149 vouchers and only purchased 12 in the shop after getting the UR Triple 305. That said I must be missing some other way of getting the voucher because I seem to have a lot already.
This is good , at least the new players will get one laffey since it would that forever to farm those points and trade in the shop for the tokens needed for laffey
You also get 50 from clearing SP ( its a mission ) plus small amounts from daily missions. I have 15 now from these. Assuming we get more daily you can get 1 copy of laffy 50 + 50 + 75 + 25 = 200 without buying these tokens from the shop at all. Of course this means you must acquire all ship girls and be able to beat SP.
clearing sp also give another 50 ur voucher plus mini game plus 50 from b3/d3 new ship afloat mission, ~180 a bit rougher for newer players update: clearing sp once also gives 5 ur voucher, assuming u clear sp every day of the event you get additonal 100 ur vouchers so you can get a total of ~280 ur voucher for free if u can clear sp and just play the event
I would say this event was one of the very very few events actually worth doing/griding. Alot of things in the shop were aguably must haves. You def wanted the Alaska gun as it will be BiS for any CB. Flasher is an above average SS (a must slot if someone doesnt have Leonardo Da Vinci and/or Archerfish) , in a sea of majorily mediocre ones. The ASW utility plane is very nice to have Chapter 14-3+ or any other future heavy ASW needed content, and obviously grinding the event to get Laffey II a bit faster. Ive been playing AL for a long long time and I would say 95% of time I skip events, as for where Im at in the game its a waste of time. I just roll on the gacha IF there is a ship(s) better than 1 of the 12 I mainly use, which isnt often. So with that said, coming from a 4 year AL veteran, this event was well worth your time to grind out

you get tickets for Laffey if you run the event with the ships you got from the UR pull ,that will give you like 50 if you are lucky , and minimum of 30 , 40 from mini game and then you can farm for Laffey
Filling out the event missions (except for the B3/D3 with the new event ships) and the mini-game two days have netted me 95 vouchers. Still this really is going to be a highly grindy event. One the plus side, at least I got 2 Guams in the first day of 30 pulls so that's off the list at least.

I have 145 UR vouchers right now and I didn't spend a single data fragment on them and you can get 175 of them by doing certain things like doing the mini game you can get 75 of them by doing that you can get 50 of them by beating the boss of b3/d3 by using all of the event ships but laffey ii in the fleet and you can get another 50 by clearing the sp stage.
They give away lots of Laffey II tickets just for playing the event. I just got her earlier today and I only needed to spend 9750 supplies on the tickets I was missing. If you wait longer you probably will need even less than that
Except the game litterally gives you a free Laffey II. I already obtained 35 from missions, and the minigame. I can get another 105 tonight if I wanted through missions pretty easily. And there are still 3 stages of the minigame which drop laffey II currency. So we will probs get a free laffey II. 😊

I got lucky and got Guam from the gocha. If you get guam you are gonna have to buy that UR main gun part from the shop if you want to plan to use Guam like I am. I'm still in the early to mid game so I dunno if getting that second Laffy II is going to be possible for me...
You wanted that Alaska gun regardless if you got Guam or not. Its BiS for ANY CB. I mean I guess if you dont have or run CB's and didnt get Guam, I could see the argument. Regardless, this was one of the very few events actually worth spending oil to grind for.
Use the XP Books with the 3x, this event is easy. Unless you're a beginner there's no reason why players should be struggling with events in AL. You don't need more than one Laffey II.
That was the second UR event that had me going to 200 pulls, thank God Luffy II is achievable without any more pulls, I'm at literally 0 cubes right now. Then again I don't need the stages either besides the points, because the plane is not sth I need and I got 4 of the sub from the banner, would be cool to get one more from D3. I just hope Guam was worth the pulls.
She is. I quickly got her fully LB'd and to lvl 125. I got all her skills maxed out 2 days ago. In testing she is my current highest damage-dealing CB, above Agir, Azuma, Kron and Brest, even un-oathed and only +10 on her UR gun. Very high AA and solid tankiness, esp with VH Armor. Not the most utilitarian as some other CB's, but if a solid CB tank with the highest damage output is your main concern, shes very good and a day 1 slot. Her damage is even on par or better than all but 3 heavy cruisers as well. Only my Unzen, Hindenburg and Fully FS'd Drake does higher damage than her.
We get much of these vouchers by events and from sp later so farming 30k would be pointless exceppt for gear or a second laffey 2 the 200 for first you get easy :) Alreydy have 170 and just did all maps for progress through. I think playing event ships also gave me some vouchers. But dont blame me if im wrong there :)

People been asking for the Sirens to be playable and Silver Fox was clearly hinted for a future event, Guam even mentions if the PEOPLE want more there will be more. My guess is Silver Fox and her fleet will be a playable character somewhere down the road. A actual human I believe is what she is, which is interesting.
I do have think Laffey II should've been just a bit easier to do because dan, 30k to get one Laffey II and then 10 to get the UR weapon😅 Talk about a serious grinding event. For SURE no one can't skip the daily missions otherwise you will probably struggle more. I do the daily missions every day and it should be recommended for everyone to do too. Including the 3 builds ships, even if you got all the event ship girls already from the Gacha.
I wish they did the HVAR Hellcats instead. I have more standard Hellcats than I know what to do with.

you can get 200 points by doing daily missions and event missions, and for the other 300, you will need to grind some to get the second copy.
I'm currently like 50 away from Laffey II. My sanity is still fine (kinda)

Hellcats were my goto fighter untill i got some bf109's for my Zuikaku.

Dint even need to save cube or coins on the event i got her 2 in 16 pity
