I'm glad people like this series once the more awkward moments tone down. Technically it's not fanservice if it has plot relevance, but people see it that way anyway because it's really only 10 episodes into the series before we see Gojou take Marin's advice in episode 1 and set a boundary with her about his comfort level that she was quite ignorant about in episode 2. Culminating in a healthier relationship as they are still figuring out how to grow up. It's definitely worth continuing whenever S2 is released because Marin and Gojou are just too adorable for words. I definitely prefer this type of romcom more than a harem plot or other shows with fanservicey stuff
I've said it before but I absolutely love that Marin doesn't seem to mind that Gojo hasn't figured out that they are basically already dating, let alone figured out he has feelings for her. It's like she can tell he needs more time and is 100% fine in just chilling and letting him get there in his own pace, for his sake ❤❤
This Gojo is realy "Throughout Heaven and Earth, He Alone Is The Honored One" survived Shibuya incident in clothing store but biggest battle is in front of him just around the corner, let's find out if his "domain expansion" will bring him victory...
I think the character she is cosplaying in this one is actually loosely based on a fighting game character. Ramlethal I think was her name. The outfit is similar except the actual character wears a cape/cloak as well. I think the clothes shopping is meant to tell us it might be a while before Gojo is comfortable enough to join in on the cosplay. I love how Marin teases him from time to time. You just know she likes seeing him flustered.

Hachiko is the dog's name, and they made a movie about him (also remade in America - "Hachi: A Dog's Tale"). The Owner died by a heart attack at work, but the dog faithfully went to the train station every day to wait for him for nine years until Hachi passed away too.

Until Marine, he lived in social isolation with a traditional, but open-minded, grandfather. He is unfamiliar with social norms, is barely aware of what his peers are into and is about as close to a "man out of his time" as he can get. He is extremely lucky that when he found someone with interests that intersected with his own, it was also someone who was outgoing enough to pull him out of his shell.
Just to clear up juju probably only likes gojo cause, as she said, he took something she cared about and handled it with so much care. With Marin it's more like admiration for how she can change up her whole vibe in her pictures. That's what she meant by love at first sight. She finally realized it wasn't just the cosplay but Marin's expressions and willingness to deviate from her normal.

While the reference is probably Ramlethal Valentine I know that years ago I have seen a clip on yt of a character that matches Veronicas style even more, but I just cant remember the name and also cant find the character anymore. All that I remember is that she too was tanned in a skimpy outfit, sharp teeth, and I think she was an animal hybrid and had white fur on her arms. Iirc there were even chains. It was a fight scene, but it was definitely from a niche anime, because I haven't seen her ever again.
Perhaps Felicia from Darkstalkers? Catgirl fighting game character whose 'outfit' if just a few strips of white cloth? Hair is very different, though. Big blue mane.

As a Ramlethal main in strive I cant believe I never pieced that together. I'm too use to the cape being there with the swords too.
