Always On Latency Monitoring Alert

  • Hello Buddy DBAs,
    In this video I am showing a script that I created to continuously monitor an Always On Availability Group for any synchronization delay due to latency or due to some database not performing data movement.
    Please feel free to test this script in your Test Environment and promote it to Production if you like. Please visit this space again for updated version of script in future.

    Interesting and very helpful. Let's here about how you transfer the jobs in running on the primary replica as you mentioned at the end of the video.

    would love to hear your way of failing over jobs, i had a way in another company where i have a jobsync table that was used to ensure jobs were failed over and a master job to enable/disable them
