Rendering is a little learning curve but once you get a handle on it you'll be doing awesome things. Hope it helped. Thanks for the comment and the support.
With the same design? I'll see what I can do for you. Kind of swamped at the moment But I will try to get something for you. Thank you so much for the comment and your support.
I'm not exactly sure I understand your question. Are you talking about trying to add a texture to a gemstone? There are other programs that you have a little more control over the gemstones like blender, Mavrick and keyshot. But blender you will have to learn how to use nodes and the other two are paid programs per month or year. I have a few other videos on rendering and if you want to become more familiar with MG cycles rendering, I would check them out. There also is a video on a shoe that really dives into rendering as well. I do plan to add more content on rendering in the future but as usual life gets in the way, but I will add it as soon as I can. Sorry for the delay.
Nor really sure on the MacBook. I'm a windows guy. lol on the rendering question. You should check with tech support at GemVision to get a clear answer on the MacBook. If you use the normal rendering materials it is best to make the cuts but if you use the materials just for rendering it is unnecessary. Just remember if you use the rendering only materials you will not be able to get gem weights on the report. Thanks for the comment and the support. Really appreciate it.

May I ask about your rendering method? Can you directly use external diamond textures (JPG or PNG) to render? What needs to be done?

Thank you for this video! Is it necessary to do the pre-cuts for rendering? Also, I'm curious if the program works on a MacBook Pro with an M3 chip?
