    That was some build i never scratched my head so many times and said “what’s he gonna do there” followed by “great idea, didn’t think of that” and I wasn’t even on the job 😂 great build 👍

    Nice work man, to eliminate all the ladder and the awkward positions on the window sides, should always base as low as possible so you can skim the apex of the window and square off than attack those outsider legs while standing on the square off easy ass man.

    It’s interesting and yet bizarre to see tube and clamp scaffolding being made.
    I work in a chemical plant here in the states with pin lock but we always work in a team of 4.
    Other than working around equipment it just gets annoying having to build in tight and cramped spaces sometimes

      Tube and clamp is just the way things are done here professionally. We do have basic towers but you really don't need to be a scaffolder to erect those. There are a few trades that may use basic towers and they're really simple and don't require much training. If you want a proper job, you'd get a scaffolder to do a job like the one in the video

    I have had some scaffolds put up but for some reason, he has drilled a couple of holes into my wall to bolt a pole to it does anybody what the reason is, please?

      it's to anchor the scaffold to the building, usually used if the job is more than 3 lifts high.

      Hi mate what do you mean...

    • @C4rramac
      @C4rramac 10 месяцев назад +2

      @lakebrunnerscaffolding6832 basing out so the inside ledger is wall side, allowing you to walk your standards straight in. Rather than having to stand them up behind the ledger. Also makes striking the base lift much easier 👍

    • @C4rramac
      @C4rramac 10 месяцев назад +1

      The other thing I see alot up north is scaffs still chalking off there standards. Don't see lads using gauge rods(another simpler way to make basing out quick and easy)

    • @lakebrunnerscaffolding6832
      @lakebrunnerscaffolding6832 10 месяцев назад

      Oh yeah, that's a smart way, I try and do that on two lifts more.
      Guage rod is the way forward only do it that on hand rails....

    This is not something you see everyday
    You see the scaffolding up and then the scaffolding seems to disappear
    but you don't see it get put up unless you work in that environment 🇬🇧

    People don't appreciate scaffolding as much as other trades. Ie timber framers, electricians, plumbers or brickies as scaffolding isn't the final result. It's there one minute then gone the next. If it wasn't for the scaffolding and the scaffolders risking their lives then the other trades wouldn't be able to get their work done especially on new builds. Brilliant job mate and when you was struggling on that ladder near the skylight, that look you gave camera the was 😂😂😂
