Great video Juan. What would be your top number 1 read for a Junior software engineer? I've been working at IBM for the past 18 months. Now that I'm past that phase of learning the foundations of programming and I chose a stack, what would your top pic be to get started out of these 5 you selected? or if there is another one you would suggest. Could you share the order you would suggest someone to start reading them? For context, the only book I read so far was "Grokking Algorithms: An Illustrated Guide". I have a list of what I see all the time on line but I don't want to choose a heavy read or one that is too simple.
Reading can be a great way of leveraging others’ life experience and learnings, and I love how you seek to apply what you read to really harness the power of that knowledge. In this industry, it’s this mindset that really differentiates programmers from software engineers. Thanks for the book recs, I added a couple to my Amazon cart :) I really appreciate and admire how much effort you put into learning and going beyond the surface level in everything you do. It’s really inspiring. Happy to be part of this community and looking forward to seeing it explode here shortly with all the great content you’ve been putting out 🚀🚀🚀
I learned that reading books and code are one of the multiple ways to familiarize yourself with programming languages. Thanks for sharing your books on this video. I have one of your books, "Code", which made me think to revisit it again.

Hey Jaun, really nice video ! I was wondering if I could help you with more Quality Editing in your videos and also make a highly engaging Thumbnail and also help you with the overall youtube strategy and growth ! Pls let me know what do you think ?
What are some of your book recommendations? Would love to learn more! 🤓

Another outstanding video, Juan! Thanks for sharing these book tips with us!
Have an amazing week ahead!
Cheers from Brazil!
Thank you so much as always Eduardo! 🙌🏻 have a great week as well!
No book can make you a 10x engineer.
Right lol
You just discovered click bait titles I see 😅
How does one know his skillset is 10x improved?
Yep. It needs failing. Repeatedly.

"Name 5 books" kkkkkk
Don't be saggy when you are talking articulate clearly !
because your videos are such a great example of this?
@@abrilmarinafuck , you got em 😂
the background music is too high paced for what you are explaining. It draws too much attention away from what you are saying.
I'm referring to the 2nd book section.
Ahh that's fair, thank you for pointing it out! Will keep that in mind for next time

Thanks Juan, I clicked expecting a generic video but this was really good.
