I fail to understand though, why is she so terrified when she sees Ahaan. It's not her mistake that she came in front of him... And yet she is absolutely terrified.... Why?? What did Ahaan do that the only one who could confront him at any point of time, is so scared of him now... Probably she has seen a lot of hardship in those 6 months both mentally and financially that after a lot of suffering, she has got this job of a waitress and doesn't want to loose the job.... Don't know but Ahaan has done enough to ruin her life and I hope he breaks the promise and doesn't go after her and neither does Ishqi come in front of her for whatever work she is suppose to do....

Before you say Sonu is selfish, remember that Sonu idolizes Ahaan as her parental figure. They were told their mother abandoned them when they were little. What happened to Sonu that night, traumatized her; it's difficult for her to open up about it. She thinks her brother Ahaan won't support her. Although, it DOESN'T justify her staying quiet and letting Ishqi take the blame for Ishqi did nothing wrong but help Sonu discover the truth. It still doesn't make Sonu selfish. Sonu is a victim who is afraid of being blamed for the incident. She however can rely on Kartik and most importantly Raj aka her beloved husband. But she needs alot of courage which she lacks due to the goddess like image Ahaan has created of Sonu. Want to blame someone, the society is your best option in this scenario!
