Loved that negotiating segment felt very raw and unfiltered. A lot of content creators usually just edit that part out and tell us if they made the deal or not and for how much.
60% is more than i'd pay, so anyone that say's that's not enough hasn't done much reselling. There is processing time, potential defects, fees, shipping materials, etc. You're only actually making MAYBE 25% on that, but likely closer to 15-20%
@kyleandow4844 yes and let's keep in mind this guy didn't buy bad shape items so at most need disc resurface on some cases for post part looks clean not much work needed and they were already organized too saves a lot of time he can pack and list all his Amazon games easily
The hand come out but with the extra 500$. Well done! Caleb does in fact like to leave a good taste in others people mouths. Good negotiations all around!
This guy has a physical and online store and he still wants these crazy prices? 50% on pricecharting for a bulk lot where you remove literally hundreds of hours of labor is very generous. Especially when you're talking about a 5 figure deal.
The one thing I CANT STAND about this video is the seller saying he has connections who hold video games for him at thrift shops. No one should be aloud to do that. That should be fair game for everyone. That part annoyed me.
Yep. It’s kinda like buying shoes that are wanted. Can’t even get a pair for market price because of resellers. Which has changed recent but this goes for anything up for resale.
Unfortunately things will never be completely fair. Put in the work and maybe it will even up. A better option is just to work hard at learning a skill/ability and just earn more income so you can buy what you want instead of spending hundreds of hours a year looking for a deal. Save your time/energy, let someone else do the work.
55-60% absolutely is a great deal for the seller on that large of a bulk deal. I challenge anyone to get higher than that anywhere in a bulk video game deal. If you do, you're starting to really hurt the buyer pretty fast.
He was easy going and went down a healthy amount each time. Dont really see 20k worth of games there. But the prices you get on Amazon is way higher than price chart. If the deal is just for the 5 boxes. Id pass unless youre really struggling with sourcing
That was a really solid deal for that guy to offload his inventory in one go. After eBay fees, shipping costs, and taxes, he would have landed around $13-$13.5 anyways. Now he doesn’t have to waste any time listing, packing, shipping, cleaning, and holding inventory.
60% is insanely good especially in cash. You have to think he doesn’t have to pay the 13.5% to Ebay and the probably 10% worth of shipping and taxes.. like man that is awesome
I know you said on the main channel that you haven't been enjoying making the videos as much as you used to but you still killing it with these videos. Much love from the UK 👊
There’s no way I’d pay more than 10k for that lot. He said he’s got most of it listed high, and when you factor in the fees and shipping, that’s gonna drop it to like 16k if everything sells for the listed prices.
@dotcom721 we saw a 20 minute clip, but I doubt that it was a rushed deal. I imagine it was probably a few hours of going through stuff and making decisions before shelling out that kind of $.
Amazon prices are most definitely above ebay prices most of the time so if he is paying 10k for a lot that he values at 20k and is probably worth around 16k price charting that's likely going to be at that 20k mark on amazon still.
