Ugh me too. That plus the fact that my hair is super thick, long and frizzy so I am basically incapable of doing even a bun

It can be a fashionable style
Just a tip, when you’re doing rope braids, twirl each of the two strands in the SAME direction, and then twist the strand with each each other in the opposite direction you twisted them originally. It’s hard to explain 😅
and it's hard to understand if eng isn't your first language 😖

When you do a twist braid you twist the strands in the opposite direction that you wrap them around each other that way you keep the coils. Otherwise they just turn into one big twist. These hairstyles are really cute!

To achieve the rope braid, try twisting the sections in the same direction instead of away from each other. Then when you twist them together, twist in the opposite direction.
